1.      BARREL, it sure looks like we are being sold another fake news bill of goods? Do you think that is true? WE REPORT. YOU DECIDE.

Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi and the anti-TRUMP lobby and media can’t let POTUS TRUMP alone and have again accused POTUS TRUMP this time of not timely responding to coronavirus COVID-19.

2.      Yes, PORK, it sure looks like their do nothing failure to do their homework accusations have boomeranged again. POTUS TRUMP has assigned Mike Pence to give oversight to efforts to prevent COVID-19.

3.      And it sure does look like the response from investors in the stock market is also ludicrous and overreaction.  Do you think that is true?

Looks like investors have not done their homework either and it looks like the sell off was and still is totally unwarranted once you work past the Schumer Pelosi anti-TRUMP lobby and media negative hype and attempt to create a crisis where the numbers and facts dictate that there is none.

4.      In my opinion, Schumer, Pelosi, and the anti-TRUMP lobby and media and the frightened investors haven’t done their homework and they clearly don’t know what they are talking about or doing.

5.      Take a look at the following. Bottom line, it looks like the Wuhan coronavirus is just another coronavirus and that it originated in the Chinese Wuhan bioresearch/bioweapons lab and that it is not even close to the influenza sickness and deaths where our resources ought to be placed. So check this out. WE REPORT. YOU DECIDE.

6.      What is a coronavirus?

7.      Coronaviruses are a number of viruses that infect the respiratory system.

8.      Note. They are viruses plural.

9.      Coronaviruses are found in both animals and people.

10.  Coronavirus infections in people are common throughout the world.

11.  They don’t usually cause serious illness.

12.  Sometimes a coronavirus that infects animals will change and turn into a new coronavirus that can infect people.

13.  These coronaviruses can be more serious and sometimes lead to pneumonia which is a life-threatening condition in which fluid builds up in the lungs.

14.  Three new coronaviruses have been discovered in recent years:

15.  SARS (severe acute respiratory syndrome), a serious and sometimes fatal respiratory illness.

16.  It was first discovered in China in 2002 and spread around the world.

17.  An international effort helped quickly contain the spread of the SARS disease.

18.  There were no deaths from SARS in the U.S.

19.  There have been no new cases of SARS reported anywhere in world since 2004.

20.  MERS (Middle East respiratory syndrome), a severe respiratory illness discovered in Saudi Arabia in 2012 which has spread to 27 countries.

21.  Only two cases and no deaths there from have been reported in the United States.

22.  All cases have been linked to travel or residence in or around the Arabian Peninsula.

23.  COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019) was discovered in late 2019 in Wuhan City, in the Hubei Province of China. Only a few cases have been found in the U.S. and no deaths.

24.  Why was this coronavirus discovered in Wuhan City?

25.  Because it looks like the Chinese were testing viruses at their  bioresearch/bioweapons lab in Wuhan and the disease in all liklihood spread from the lab, that is why.

26.  Think about the following analysis and see what you think.

27.  “Don’t buy China’s story: The coronavirus may have leaked from a lab

28.  By Steven W. Mosher

29.  February 22, 2020 | 11:18am | Updated Read    https://nypost.com/2020/02/22/dont-buy-chinas-story-the-coronavirus-may-have-leaked-from-a-lab/  …

30.  “At an emergency meeting in Beijing held last Friday, Chinese leader Xi Jinping spoke about the need to contain the coronavirus and set up a system to prevent similar epidemics in the future.

31.  “A national system to control biosecurity risks must be put in place “to protect the people’s health,” Xi said, because lab safety is a “national security” issue.

32.  “Xi didn’t actually admit that the coronavirus now devastating large swaths of China had escaped from one of the country’s bioresearch labs. But the very next day, evidence emerged suggesting that this is exactly what happened, as the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology released a new directive titled: “Instructions on strengthening biosecurity management in microbiology labs that handle advanced viruses like the novel coronavirus.”

33.  “Read that again. It sure sounds like China has a problem keeping dangerous pathogens in test tubes where they belong, doesn’t it? And just how many “microbiology labs” are there in China that handle “advanced viruses like the novel coronavirus”?

34.  “It turns out that in all of China, there is only one. And this one is located in the Chinese city of Wuhan that just happens to be … the epicenter of the epidemic.

35.  “That’s right. China’s only Level 4 microbiology lab that is equipped to handle deadly coronaviruses, called the National Biosafety Laboratory, is part of the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

36.  “… What’s more, the People’s Liberation Army’s top expert in biological warfare, a Maj. Gen. Chen Wei, was dispatched to Wuhan at the end of January to help with the effort to contain the outbreak.

37.  “According to the PLA Daily, Chen has been researching corona viruses since the SARS outbreak of 2003, as well as Ebola and anthrax.

38.  “This would not be her first trip to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, either, since it is one of only two bioweapons research labs in all of China.

39.  “Does that suggest to you that the novel coronavirus, now known as SARS-CoV-2, may have escaped from that very lab, and that Chen’s job is to try to put the genie back in the bottle, as it were? It does to me.

40.  “Add to this China’s history of similar incidents. Even the deadly SARS virus has escaped — twice — from the Beijing lab where it was (and probably is) being used in experiments.

41.  Both “man-made” epidemics were quickly contained, but neither would have happened at all if proper safety precautions had been taken.

42.  “And then there is this little-known fact: Some Chinese researchers are in the habit of selling their laboratory animals to street vendors after they have finished experimenting on them.

43.  “You heard me right.

44.  “Instead of properly disposing of infected animals by cremation, as the law requires, they sell them on the side to make a little extra cash. Or, in some cases, a lot of extra cash.

45.  “One Beijing researcher, now in jail, made a million dollars selling his monkeys and rats on the live animal market, where they eventually wound up in someone’s stomach.

46.  “Enlarge Image Members of a police sanitation team spray disinfectant as a preventive measure against the spread of the coronavirus.AFP via Getty Images

47.  “Also fueling suspicions about SARS-CoV-2’s origins is the series of increasingly lame excuses offered by the Chinese authorities as people began to sicken and die.

48.  “They first blamed a seafood market not far from the Institute of Virology, even though the first documented cases of Covid-19 (the illness caused by SARS-CoV-2) involved people who had never set foot there.

49.  “Then they pointed to snakes, bats and even a cute little scaly anteater called a pangolin as the source of the virus.

50.  “I don’t buy any of this. It turns out that snakes don’t carry coronaviruses and that bats aren’t sold at a seafood market.

51.  Neither, for that matter, are pangolins, an endangered species valued for their scales as much as for their meat.

52.  “The evidence points to SARS-CoV-2 research being carried out at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

53.  “The virus may have been carried out of the lab by an infected worker or crossed over into humans when they unknowingly dined on a lab animal.

54.  Whatever the vector, Beijing authorities are now clearly scrambling to correct the serious problems with the way their labs handle deadly pathogens.

55.  “[It looks like] China has unleashed a plague on its own people.

56.  “It’s too early to say how many in China and other countries will ultimately die for the failures of their country’s state-run microbiology labs, but the human cost will be high.

57.  Steven W. Mosher is the president of the Population Research Institute and the author of “Bully of Asia: Why China’s ‘Dream’ Is the New Threat to World Order.”

58.  Knowing China’s penchant for “taking care of” those who cause difficulty for the regime, and while there is great effort to put the genie back in the bottle, it looks like heads may roll at the Wuhan Institute of Virology if they have not already done so.

59.  Most infections have occurred in China or are related to travel from Hubei Province.

60.  There have been some cases reported in United States. NO DEATHS IN THE U.S.

61.  The outbreak is being closely monitored by:

62.  the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and

63.  the World Health Organization (WHO).

64.  Symptoms of coronavirus infections include:

65.  Fever

66.  Cough

67.  Shortness of breath

68.  Sore throat

69.  Headache

70.  Symptoms of COVID-19 are usually milder than those of SARS and MERS.

71.  The symptoms of COVID-19 include:

72.  Fever

73.  Cough

74.  Shortness of breath

75.  Parts of the world that may put you at risk for infection:

76.  China, which has a high rate of COVID-19 infections.

77.  Currently the CDC is recommending that people avoid all nonessential travel to China.

78.  The Arabian Peninsula.

79.  There are no known current cases of MERS in the United States.

80.  But if you have symptoms and have recently traveled there, you should be tested for the infection.

81.  If you have symptoms and have not traveled to one of these areas or been exposed to someone who has, it’s highly unlikely that you have one of these new coronaviruses.

82.  You may have another type of virus, such as the flu.

83.  The flu is much more common in the United States than the new coronaviruses.

84.  Influenza (flu) Numbers?

85.  3,000,000 to 5,000,000 severe illnesses each year world-wide.

86.   290,000 to 650,000 deaths each year world-wide.

87.  20% of unvaccinated children catch the virus each year.

88.   10% of unvaccinated adults are infected each year.

95.  2018-2019 Flu Season Estimates?

96.  Influenza activity in the United States during the 2018–2019 season began to increase in November and remained at high levels for several weeks during January–February5.

97.  Influenza A viruses were the predominant circulating viruses last year.

98.  While influenza A(H1N1pdm09) viruses predominated from October 2018 – mid February 2019, influenza A(H3N2) viruses were more commonly reported starting in late February 2019.

99.  Influenza B viruses were not commonly reported among circulating viruses during the 2018–2019 season.

100.   The season had moderate severity based on levels of outpatient influenza-like illness, hospitalizations rates, and proportions of pneumonia and influenza-associated deaths.

101.    CDC estimates that the burden of illness during the 2018–2019 season included an estimated:

102.    35.5 million people getting sick with influenza,

103.   16.5 million people going to a health care provider for their illness,

104.    490,600 hospitalizations, and

105.   34,200 deaths from influenza (Table 1). [annual]

106.   The number of influenza-associated illnesses that occurred last season was similar to the estimated number of influenza-associated illnesses during the 2012–2013 influenza season when an estimated:

107.   34 million people had symptomatic influenza illness6.

108.   Peak activity during the 2018–2019 influenza season was classified as having moderate severity across ages in the population.

109.   Compared with the 2017–2018 season , which was classified as high severity, the overall rates and burden of influenza were much lower during the 2018–2019 season (Table 2).

110.   Among children, however, rates of influenza during the 2018–2019 season were similar to the 2017–2018 season.

111.   In addition, the 2018–2019 season had two waves of activity, including a wave predominated by influenza A(H1N1)pdm09 viruses and another wave of similar magnitude attributable to influenza A(H3N2) viruses5.

112.   The dual waves resulted in a protracted season during 2018–2019 that was less severe when compared with peak activity in 2017–2018, but resulted in a similar burden of illness in children by the end of the season.

113.    During the 2018–2019 season, 136 deaths in children with laboratory–confirmed influenza virus infection were reported in the United States8.

114.   However, influenza-associated pediatric deaths are likely under-reported as not all children whose death was related to an influenza virus infection may have been tested for influenza9,10.

115.   By combining data on hospitalization rates, influenza testing practices, and the frequency of death in and out of the hospital from death certificates, we estimate that there were approximately 480  deaths associated with influenza in children during 2018–2019.

116.   Our estimates of hospitalizations and mortality associated with the 2018–2019 influenza season continue to demonstrate how serious influenza virus infection can be.

117.   We estimate, overall, there were:

118.   490,600 hospitalizations and

119.   34,200 deaths during the 2018–2019 season.

120.   More than:

121.    46,000 hospitalizations occurred in children (aged <18 years); however,

122.   57% of hospitalizations occurred in older adults aged ≥65 years.

123.    Older adults also accounted for:

124.   75% of influenza-associated deaths,

125.    highlighting that older adults are particularly vulnerable to severe outcomes resulting from an influenza virus infection.

126.   An estimated:

127.   8,100 deaths occurred among working age adults (aged 18–64 years), an age group that often has low influenza vaccination uptake11.

128.   Conclusion

129.   CDC estimates that influenza was associated with

130.   more than:

131.   35.5 million illnesses,

132.   more than

133.   16.5 million medical visits,

134.   490,600 hospitalizations, and

135.   34,200 deaths

136.   during the 2018–2019 influenza season.

137.   This burden was similar to estimated burden during the 2012–2013 influenza season1.

139.   Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Situation Summary

140.   This is an emerging, rapidly evolving situation and CDC will provide updated information as it becomes available, in addition to updated guidance.

141.   Updated February 23, 2020

142.   Background

143.   CDC is responding to an outbreak of respiratory disease caused by a novel (new) coronavirus that was first detected in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China and which has now been detected in 32 locations internationally, including cases in the United States.

144.   The virus has been named “SARS-CoV-2” and the disease it causes has been named “coronavirus disease 2019” (abbreviated “COVID-19”).

145.   On January 30, 2020, the International Health Regulations Emergency Committee of the World Health Organization declared the outbreak a “public health emergency of international concernexternal icon” (PHEIC).

146.   On January 31, 2020, Health and Human Services Secretary Alex M. Azar II declared a public health emergency (PHE) for the United States to aid the nation’s healthcare community in responding to COVID-19.

147.    Source and Spread of the Virus

148.    Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that are common in many different species of animals, including camels, cattle, cats, and bats.

149.   Rarely, animal coronaviruses can infect people and then spread between people such as with MERS-CoVSARS-CoV, and now with this new virus (named SARS-CoV-2).

150.   The SARS-CoV-2 virus is a betacoronavirus, like MERS-CoV and SARS-CoV.

151.   All three of these viruses have their origins in bats. [Probably a bogus conclusion if not a partial explanation as to origins given the Wuhan bioresearch/bioweapons connection!]

152.   The sequences from U.S. patients are similar to the one that China initially posted, suggesting a likely single, recent emergence of this virus from an animal reservoir.

153.   Early on, many of the patients in the COVID-19 outbreak in Wuhan, China had some link to a large seafood and live animal market, suggesting animal-to-person spread.

154.   Later, a growing number of patients reportedly did not have exposure to animal markets, indicating person-to-person spread.

155.   Person-to-person spread has been reported outside China, including in the United States and other locations.

156.   Chinese officials report that sustained person-to-person spread in the community is occurring in China.

157.   In addition, other destinations have apparent community spread, meaning some people have been infected who are not sure how or where they became infected.

158.   Learn what is known about the spread of newly emerged coronaviruses.

174.   Person-to-person spread of COVID-19 also has been seen among close contacts of returned travelers from Wuhan, but at this time, this virus is NOT currently spreading in the community in the United States.

175.   Illness Severity

176.   Both MERS-CoV and SARS-CoV have been known to cause severe illness in people.

177.   The complete clinical picture with regard to COVID-19 is not fully understood.

178.   Reported illnesses have ranged from mild to severe, including illness resulting in death.

179.   Learn more about the symptoms associated with COVID-19.

180.   There are ongoing investigations to learn more.

181.    This is a rapidly evolving situation

182.    and information will be updated as it becomes available.

183.    Risk Assessment

184.   Outbreaks of novel virus infections among people are always of public health concern.

185.   The risk from these outbreaks depends on characteristics of the virus, including how well it spreads between people, the severity of resulting illness, and the medical or other measures available to control the impact of the virus (for example, vaccine or treatment medications).

186.   The fact that this disease has caused illness, including illness resulting in death, and sustained person-to-person spread is concerning.

187.     These factors meet two of the criteria of a pandemic.

188.   As community spread is detected in more and more countries, the world moves closer toward meeting the third criteria, worldwide spread of the new virus.

189.   The potential public health threat posed by COVID-19 is high, both globally and to the United States.

190.   But individual risk is dependent on exposure.

191.   For the general American public, who are unlikely to be exposed to this virus at this time, the immediate health risk from COVID-19 is considered low.

192.   Under current circumstances, certain people will have an increased risk of infection, for example healthcare workers caring for patients with COVID-19 and other close contacts of persons with COVID-19.

193.   CDC has developed guidance to help in the risk assessment and management of people with potential exposures to COVID-19.

194.   However, it’s important to note that current global circumstances suggest it is likely that this virus will cause a pandemic.

195.   In that case, the risk assessment would be different.

196.    What May Happen

197.   More cases are likely to be identified in the coming days, including more cases in the United States.

198.   It’s also likely that person-to-person spread will continue to occur, including in the United States.

199.   Widespread transmission of COVID-19 in the United States would translate into large numbers of people needing medical care at the same time.

200.   Schools, childcare centers, workplaces, and other places for mass gatherings may experience more absenteeism.

201.    Public health and healthcare systems may become overloaded, with elevated rates of hospitalizations and deaths.

202.   Other critical infrastructure, such as law enforcement, emergency medical services, and transportation industry may also be affected.

203.    Health care providers and hospitals may be overwhelmed.

204.   At this time, there is no vaccine to protect against COVID-19 and no medications approved to treat it.

205.   Nonpharmaceutical interventions would be the most important response strategy.

206.   CDC Response

207.   Global efforts at this time are focused concurrently on containing spread of this virus and mitigating the impact of this virus.

208.    The federal government is working closely with state, local, tribal, and territorial partners, as well as public health partners, to respond to this public health threat.

209.   The public health response is multi-layered, with the goal of detecting and minimizing introductions of this virus in the United States so as to reduce the spread and the impact of this virus.

210.    CDC is operationalizing all of its pandemic preparedness and response plans, working on multiple fronts to meet these goals, including specific measures to prepare communities to respond local transmission of the virus that causes COVID-19.

211.    There is an abundance of pandemic guidance developed in anticipation of an influenza pandemic that is being repurposed and adapted for a COVID-19 pandemic.

212.   Highlights of CDC’s Response

213.   CDC established a COVID-19 Incident Management System on January 7, 2020.

214.   On January 21, 2020, CDC activated its Emergency Operations Center to better provide ongoing support to the COVID-19 response.

215.    The U.S. government has taken unprecedented steps with respect to travel in response to the growing public health threat posed by this new coronavirus:

216.   Effective February 2, 2020, at 5pm, the U.S. government suspended entry of foreign nationals who have been in China within the past 14 days.

217.   U.S. citizens, residents, and their immediate family members who have been in Hubei province and other parts of mainland China are allowed to enter the United States, but they are subject to health monitoring and possible quarantine for up to 14 days.

218.   CDC has issued the following travel guidance related to COVID-19:

219.   China — Level 3, Avoid Nonessential Travel — last updated February 22;

220.     Japan — Level 2, Practice Enhanced Precautions — last updated February 22;

221.    South Korea — Level 2, Practice Enhanced Precautions — issued February 22;

222.   Hong Kong — Level 1, Practice Usual Precautions — issued February 19.

223.   CDC also recommends that all travelers reconsider cruise ship voyages into or within Asia at this time.

224.   CDC is issuing clinical guidance, including:

225.   An interim Health Alert Network (HAN) Update to inform state and local health departments and healthcare professionals about this outbreak on February 1, 2020.

226.   On January 30, 2020, CDC published guidance for healthcare professionals on the clinical care of  COVID-19 patients.

227.   On February 3, 2020, CDC posted guidance for assessing the potential risk for various exposures to COVID-19 and managing those people appropriately.

228.   CDC has deployed multidisciplinary teams to support state health departments with clinical management, contact tracing, and communications.

229.   CDC has worked with the Department of State, supporting the safe return of Americans who have been stranded as a result of the ongoing outbreaks of COVID-19 and related travel restrictions.

230.     CDC has worked to assess the health of passengers as they return to the United States and provided continued daily monitoring of people who are quarantined.

231.   The article contains a picture of CDC’s laboratory test kit for severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).

232.   CDC is shipping the test kits to laboratories CDC has designated as qualified, including U.S. state and local public health laboratories, Department of Defense (DOD) laboratories and select international laboratories.

233.   The test kits are bolstering global laboratory capacity for detecting SARS-CoV-2.

234.   CDC laboratories have supported the COVID-19 response, including:

235.   CDC has developed a real time Reverse Transcription-Polymerase Chain Reaction (rRT-PCR) test that can diagnose COVID-19 in respiratory samples from clinical specimens.

236.   On January 24, 2020, CDC publicly posted the assay protocol for this test.

237.    CDC has been uploading the entire genome of the viruses from reported cases in the United States to GenBank as sequencing was completed.

238.     CDC has grown the COVID-19 virus in cell culture, which is necessary for further studies, including for additional genetic characterization.

239.   The cell-grown virus was sent to NIH’s BEI Resources Repositoryexternal iconexternal icon for use by the broad scientific community.

240.    CDC Recommends

241.   While the immediate risk of this new virus to the American public is believed to be low at this time, everyone can do their part to help us respond to this emerging public health threat:

242.   It’s currently flu and respiratory disease season and CDC recommends getting a flu vaccine, taking everyday preventive actions to help stop the spread of germs, and taking flu antivirals if prescribed.

243.   If you are a healthcare provider, be on the look-out for people who recently traveled from China and have fever and respiratory symptoms.

244.   If you are a healthcare provider caring for a COVID-19 patient or a public health responder, please take care of yourself and follow recommended infection control procedures.

245.   If you have been in China or have been exposed to someone sick with COVID-19 in the last 14 days, you will face some limitations on your movement and activity.

246.   Please follow instructions during this time.

247.   Your cooperation is integral to the ongoing public health response to try to slow spread of this virus.

248.   If you develop COVID-19 symptoms, contact your healthcare provider, and tell them about your symptoms and your travel or exposure to a COVID-19 patient.

249.   For people who are ill with COVID-19, please follow CDC guidance on how to reduce the risk of spreading your illness to others.

283.    What happens during coronavirus testing?

284.    If your provider thinks you may have COVID-19, he or she will contact the CDC or your local health department for instructions on testing.

285.    You may be told to go to a special lab for your test.

286.    Only certain labs have been allowed to do tests for COVID-19.

287.    There are a few ways that a lab may get a sample for testing.

288.    Swab test. A health care provider will use a special swab to take a sample from your nose or throat.

289.    Nasal aspirate. A health care provider will inject a saline solution into your nose, then remove the sample with gentle suction.

290.    Tracheal aspirate. A health care provider will put a thin, lighted tube called a bronchoscope down your mouth and into your lungs, where a sample will be collected.

291.    Sputum test. Sputum is a thick mucus that is coughed up from the lungs. You may be asked to cough up sputum into a special cup, or a special swab may be used to take a sample from your nose.

292.    Blood. A health care professional will take a blood sample from a vein in your arm.

293.    The FDA has approved more widespread use of a rapid test for COVID-19.

294.    The test, which was developed by the CDC, uses samples from the nose, throat, or lungs.

295.    It enables fast, accurate diagnosis of the virus.

296.    The test is now allowed to be used at any CDC-approved lab across the country.

297.    Will I need to do anything to prepare for this test?

298.    Your health care provider may ask you to wear a facemask to your appointment.

299.    Your provider will let you know if you should take other steps to prevent the spread of infection.

300.    Are there any risks to the test?

301.    You may feel a tickle or a gagging sensation when your nose or throat is swabbed.

302.    The nasal aspirate may feel uncomfortable.

303.    These effects are temporary.

304.    There is a minor risk of bleeding or infection from a tracheal aspiration.

305.    There is very little risk to having a blood test.

306.    You may have slight pain or bruising at the spot where the needle was put in, but most symptoms go away quickly.

307.    What do the results mean?

308.    If your results were positive, it means you probably have a coronavirus infection.

309.    There is no specific treatment for these infections, but your health care provider may recommend steps to relieve your symptoms.

310.    These include:

311.    Drinking plenty of fluids

312.    Resting

313.    Taking over-the-counter pain relievers

314.    You may need to go to the hospital if your symptoms get worse, which may be a sign of pneumonia.

315.    Symptoms of pneumonia include a worsening cough, increased trouble breathing, and a high fever.

316.    If you were diagnosed with a coronavirus infection, you should also take the following steps to prevent others from getting sick:

317.    Stay home, except to get medical care.

318.    Wear a facemask when you are around other people.

319.    Do not share drinking glasses, eating utensils, towels, bedding, or other items with people in your home.

320.    Cough or sneeze into your sleeve or a tissue, not your hands.

321.    Wash your hands frequently and thoroughly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

322.    If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.

323.    If your results were negative, you may need further testing and/or an exam by your provider.

324.    Until you get a diagnosis, you will still need to take steps to prevent spreading the infection.

325.    Is there anything else I need to know about coronavirus testing?

326.    You can lower your risk of getting an infection by taking the following steps:

327.    Wash your hands frequently and thoroughly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.

328.    If soap and water are not available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer that contains at least 60% alcohol.

329.    Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.

330.    When possible, keep away from people who are coughing and sneezing.

331.    Clean frequently-touched objects and surfaces with a household disinfectant spray or wipe.

353.

354.    In a study of more than 1,000 patients published in the journal Radiology, chest CT outperformed lab testing in the diagnosis of 2019 novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

355.    The researchers concluded that CT should be used as the primary screening tool for COVID-19.

356.    In the absence of specific therapeutic drugs or vaccines for COVID-19, it is essential to detect the disease at an early stage and immediately isolate an infected patient from the healthy population.

357.    According to the latest guidelines published by the Chinese government, the diagnosis of COVID-19 must be confirmed by reverse-transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) or gene sequencing for respiratory or blood specimens, as the key indicator for hospitalization.

358.    However, with limitations of sample collection and transportation, as well as kit performance, the total positive rate of RT-PCR for throat swab samples has been reported to be about 30% to 60% at initial presentation.

359.    In the current public health emergency, the low sensitivity of RT-PCR implies that a large number of COVID-19 patients won’t be identified quickly and may not receive appropriate treatment.

360.    In addition, given the highly contagious nature of the virus, they carry a risk of infecting a larger population.

361.    “Early diagnosis of COVID-19 is crucial for disease treatment and control.

362.    Compared to RT-PCR, chest CT imaging may be a more reliable, practical and rapid method to diagnose and assess COVID-19, especially in the epidemic area,” the authors wrote.

363.    Chest CT, a routine imaging tool for pneumonia diagnosis, is fast and relatively easy to perform.

364.    Recent research found that the sensitivity of CT for COVID-19 infection was 98% compared to RT-PCR sensitivity of 71%.

365.    For the current study, researchers at Tongji Hospital in Wuhan, China, set out to investigate the diagnostic value and consistency of chest CT imaging in comparison to RT-PCR assay in COVID-19.

366.    Included in the study were 1,014 patients who underwent both chest CT and RT-PCR tests between January 6 and February 6, 2020.

367.    With RT-PCR as reference standard, the performance of chest CT in diagnosing COVID-19 was assessed.

368.    For patients with multiple RT-PCR assays, the dynamic conversion of RT-PCR test results (negative to positive, and positive to negative, respectively) was also analyzed as compared with serial chest CT scans.

369.    The results showed that 601 patients (59%) had positive RT-PCR results, and 888 (88%) had positive chest CT scans.

370.    The sensitivity of chest CT in suggesting COVID-19 was 97%, based on positive RT-PCR results.

371.    In patients with negative RT-PCR results, 75% (308 of 413 patients) had positive chest CT findings. Of these, 48% were considered as highly likely cases, with 33% as probable cases.

372.    By analysis of serial RT-PCR assays and CT scans, the interval between the initial negative to positive RT-PCR results was 4 to 8 days.

373.    “About 81% of the patients with negative RT-PCR results but positive chest CT scans were re-classified as highly likely or probable cases with COVID-19, by the comprehensive analysis of clinical symptoms, typical CT manifestations and dynamic CT follow-ups,” the authors wrote.

397.

398.    According to a February 13 report from the World Health Organization, the Wuhan coronavirus has stricken more than 46,000 people and has caused over 1,300 deaths since the first cases in Wuhan, China, in December 2019. Now, researchers reporting in ACS’ Journal of Medicinal Chemistry have designed compounds that block the replication of similar coronaviruses, as well as other disease-causing viruses, in the lab. The compounds have not yet been tested in people.

399.    The Wuhan coronavirus, also known as SARS-CoV-2 or 2019-nCoV, is a close relative to the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) virus that caused an outbreak in 2003 (SARS-CoV-1), as well as the Middle-East respiratory disease virus (MERS-CoV) that emerged in 2012.

400.    All of these viruses cause flu-like symptoms and, frequently, pneumonia.

401.    However, no effective treatments have been developed, in part because the relatively small number of cases have not warranted large expenditures by pharmaceutical companies.

402.    Hong Liu, Rolf Hilgenfeld and colleagues envisioned a possible solution in the form of broad-spectrum antiviral drugs that target all coronaviruses, as well as enteroviruses — some of which cause conditions like the common cold; hand, foot and mouth disease; and the “summer flu.”

403.    All of these viruses share a similar protein-cutting enzyme, called the “main protease” in coronaviruses and the “3C protease” in enteroviruses, that is essential for viral replication.

404.    The researchers examined X-ray crystal structures of the proteases and then made a series of α-ketoamide compounds that were predicted to fit snugly in the enzymes’ active sites, interfering with their function.

405.    By testing the molecules in the test tube and in human cells in petri dishes, they identified one versatile inhibitor that blocked multiple coronaviruses and enteroviruses, including SARS-CoV-1.

406.    Another molecule showed very strong activity against MERS-CoV, with moderate activity against the other viruses.

407.    Because the main proteases of SARS-CoV-2, MERS-CoV and SARS-CoV-1 are very similar, the inhibitors will most likely show good antiviral activity against the Wuhan coronavirus, the researchers say.

408.    Their next step will be to test the inhibitors in small-animal models of disease.

WE REPORT. YOU DECIDE.

Is the coronavirus an overreaction and even a hoax? BARREL & PORK. We report. You decide.

1.      BARREL, it sure looks like we are being sold another fake news bill of goods? WE REPORT.

3.      And it looks like the response from investors in the stock market is also ludicrous and overreaction.

They too have not done their homework and it looks like the sell off was and still is totally unwarranted once you work past the Schumer Pelosi anti-TRUMP lobby and media negative hype and attempt to create a crisis where the facts dictate that there is none.

219.   China — Level 3, Avoid Nonessential Travel — last updated February 22;

220.     Japan — Level 2, Practice Enhanced Precautions — last updated February 22;

221.    South Korea — Level 2, Practice Enhanced Precautions — issued February 22;

345.    CT provides best diagnosis for COVID-19

346.    Date:

347.    February 26, 2020

348.    Source:

349.    Radiological Society of North America

350.    Summary:

351.    In a study of more than 1,000 patients published in the journal Radiology, chest CT outperformed lab testing in the diagnosis of 2019 novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19). The researchers concluded that CT should be used as the primary screening tool for COVID-19.

352.    FULL STORY

353.

392.    Summary:

393.    According to a Feb. 13 report from the World Health Organization, the Wuhan coronavirus has stricken more than 46,000 people and has caused over 1,300 deaths [world-wide with few in the U.S. and no deaths in the U.S. – Compared to flu this is a no brainer.] since the first cases in Wuhan, China, in December 2019. [How do they know when the testing is so problematical?]

394.    Now, researchers have designed compounds that block the replication of similar coronaviruses, as well as other disease-causing viruses, in the lab.

395.    The compounds have not yet been tested in people.

397.

Did the Coronavirus leak from the Chinese bioresearch/bioweapons lab in Wuhan, China? BARREL & PORK. We report. You decide.

1.     BARREL, I just read this article from New York Post and now I ask the same question. Did the Corona virus leak from a Chinese bioresearch/bioweapons lab?

2.     Take a look at the following analysis. BARREL & PORK.

3.     We report. You decide.

4.     Don’t buy China’s story: The corona virus may have leaked from a lab

5.     By Steven W. Mosher

6.     February 22, 2020 | 11:18am | Updated Read    https://nypost.com/2020/02/22/dont-buy-chinas-story-the-coronavirus-may-have-leaked-from-a-lab/  …

8.     “At an emergency meeting in Beijing held last Friday, Chinese leader Xi Jinping spoke about the need to contain the coronavirus and set up a system to prevent similar epidemics in the future.

9.     “A national system to control biosecurity risks must be put in place “to protect the people’s health,” Xi said, because lab safety is a “national security” issue.

11. Read that again. It sure sounds like China has a problem keeping dangerous pathogens in test tubes where they belong, doesn’t it? And just how many “microbiology labs” are there in China that handle “advanced viruses like the novel coronavirus”?

12. It turns out that in all of China, there is only one. And this one is located in the Chinese city of Wuhan that just happens to be … the epicenter of the epidemic.

13. That’s right. China’s only Level 4 microbiology lab that is equipped to handle deadly coronaviruses, called the National Biosafety Laboratory, is part of the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

14. … What’s more, the People’s Liberation Army’s top expert in biological warfare, a Maj. Gen. Chen Wei, was dispatched to Wuhan at the end of January to help with the effort to contain the outbreak.

15. According to the PLA Daily, Chen has been researching corona viruses since the SARS outbreak of 2003, as well as Ebola and anthrax. This would not be her first trip to the Wuhan Institute of Virology, either, since it is one of only two bioweapons research labs in all of China.

16. Does that suggest to you that the novel coronavirus, now known as SARS-CoV-2, may have escaped from that very lab, and that Chen’s job is to try to put the genie back in the bottle, as it were? It does to me.

17. Add to this China’s history of similar incidents. Even the deadly SARS virus has escaped — twice — from the Beijing lab where it was (and probably is) being used in experiments. Both “man-made” epidemics were quickly contained, but neither would have happened at all if proper safety precautions had been taken.

18. And then there is this little-known fact: Some Chinese researchers are in the habit of selling their laboratory animals to street vendors after they have finished experimenting on them.

19. You heard me right.

20. Instead of properly disposing of infected animals by cremation, as the law requires, they sell them on the side to make a little extra cash. Or, in some cases, a lot of extra cash. One Beijing researcher, now in jail, made a million dollars selling his monkeys and rats on the live animal market, where they eventually wound up in someone’s stomach.

21. Enlarge ImageMembers of a police sanitation team spray disinfectant as a preventive measure against the spread of the coronavirus.AFP via Getty Images

22. Also fueling suspicions about SARS-CoV-2’s origins is the series of increasingly lame excuses offered by the Chinese authorities as people began to sicken and die.

23. They first blamed a seafood market not far from the Institute of Virology, even though the first documented cases of Covid-19 (the illness caused by SARS-CoV-2) involved people who had never set foot there.

24. Then they pointed to snakes, bats and even a cute little scaly anteater called a pangolin as the source of the virus.

25. I don’t buy any of this. It turns out that snakes don’t carry coronaviruses and that bats aren’t sold at a seafood market. Neither, for that matter, are pangolins, an endangered species valued for their scales as much as for their meat.

26. The evidence points to SARS-CoV-2 research being carried out at the Wuhan Institute of Virology. The virus may have been carried out of the lab by an infected worker or crossed over into humans when they unknowingly dined on a lab animal. Whatever the vector, Beijing authorities are now clearly scrambling to correct the serious problems with the way their labs handle deadly pathogens.

27. [It looks like] China has unleashed a plague on its own people. It’s too early to say how many in China and other countries will ultimately die for the failures of their country’s state-run microbiology labs, but the human cost will be high.

28. Steven W. Mosher is the president of the Population Research Institute and the author of “Bully of Asia: Why China’s ‘Dream’ Is the New Threat to World Order.”

29. Looks like heads will roll at the Wuhan Institute of Virology.

Does Bernie’s Socialism Collective BORG destroy America? BARREL & PORK. We report. You decide.

1.    PORK, does Bernie Sander’s Socialism Collective BORG destroy America?

2.     Yes, BARREL, Bernie’s Socialism Collective BORG is a “government driven collective” political engineering theory and practice.

3.       Bernie’s Socialism BORG is a government theory and practice that at its extreme results in communism. Witness Venezuela, North Korea, Russia.

4.       Bernie’s Socialism BORG is government control of goods, services, and people.

5.       Bernie’s Socialism BORG is a system of globalism, open borders, and unfettered abortion.

6.       POTUS TRUMP’S America First Constitutional Capitalism is based on the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution with their theory and practice of limited government, sovereignty of America, vetted border crossings, and extremely limited abortion.

7.       Bernie’s Socialism Collective BORG is a “government driven collective” economic engineering theory and practice.

8.       Bernie’s Socialism BORG is theory and practice wherein the means of production and pricing and distribution of goods and services are owned and controlled by the collective. At its extreme, there is no private property.

9.     POTUS TRUMP’S America First Constitutional Capitalism is based on the theory and practice of individual private property ownership, production, pricing, and distribution of goods and services.

10.   Bernie’s Socialism Collective BORG is a “government driven collective” social engineering theory and practice wherein all individuals are assimilated into the “COLLECTIVE BORG.”

11.   Bernie’s Socialism Collective BORG is a system wherein the individual is assimilated into and controlled in thought, word, and deed by the collective. At its extreme, there is no freedom of religion, no freedom of speech, no freedom of assembly, no right to bear arms, no freedom of education, and no freedom of family.

12.   POTUS TRUMP’S America First Constitutional Capitalism is based on the theory and practice of freedom of religion, freedom of speech, freedom of assembly, freedom of family.

13.   Bernie’s Socialism Collective BORG vs. POTUS TRUMP’S America First Constitutional Capitalism.

14.   Bernie’s Socialism Collective BORG is based on the concept that the government controls the freedom, choices, information and “fake news” media, and thus controls the lives and destiny of men, women, and the unborn.

15.   POTUS TRUMP’S America First Constitutional Capitalism is based on the concept of individual agency, individual choice, individual freedom, on “non-fake news” media, on the concept that the sole purpose of government is to ensure the FREEDOM, SAFETY, AND PROSPERITY of the people who elect and appoint those in government.

PORK, does Bernie Sander’s Socialism Collective BORG destroy America? Yes. Looks like it Does POTUS TRUMP’S America First Constitutional Capitalism save America? Yes. Looks like it Does. BARREL & PORK. We report. You decide.

Coronavirus and Influenza (flu) – when all is said and done, what should POTUS TRUMP and the CDC and WHO do? BARREL & PORK. We report. You decide.

BARREL, the public and the media are rightly concerned about Corona Virus. Here are details regarding INFLUENZA AND THE CORONA VIRUS that may alleviate some of the worry and put the matter in a clearer perspective.

Bottom line, perhaps POTUS TRUMP ought to focus more national resources on combatting INFLUENZA (FLU) while at the same time taking all precautions regarding CORONA VIRUS.

1.     Influenza (flu) Numbers?

2.     3,000,000 to 5,000,000 severe illnesses each year world-wide.

3.     290,000 to 650,000 deaths each year world-wide.

4.     20% of unvaccinated children catch the virus each year.

5.     10% of unvaccinated adults are infected each year.

7.     Influenza Center for Disease Control (CDC) Numbers?

8.     9,000,000 to 45,000,000 illnesses.

9.     140,000 to 810,000 hospitalizations.

10. 12,000 to 61,000 deaths annually.

11. https://www.google.com/search?q=Influenza+illness+and+deaths&rlz=1C1GCEA_enUS863US863&oq=Influenza+illness+and+deaths&aqs=chrome..69i57j33.10719j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

12. 2018-2019 Flu Season Estimates?

13. Influenza activity in the United States during the 2018–2019 season began to increase in November and remained at high levels for several weeks during January–February5.

14. Influenza A viruses were the predominant circulating viruses last year.

15. While influenza A(H1N1pdm09) viruses predominated from October 2018 – mid February 2019, influenza A(H3N2) viruses were more commonly reported starting in late February 2019.

16. Influenza B viruses were not commonly reported among circulating viruses during the 2018–2019 season.

17. The season had moderate severity based on levels of outpatient influenza-like illness, hospitalizations rates, and proportions of pneumonia and influenza-associated deaths.

18. CDC estimates that the burden of illness during the 2018–2019 season included an estimated:

19. 35.5 million people getting sick with influenza,

20. 16.5 million people going to a health care provider for their illness,

21. 490,600 hospitalizations, and

22. 34,200 deaths from influenza (Table 1). [annual]

23. The number of influenza-associated illnesses that occurred last season was similar to the estimated number of influenza-associated illnesses during the 2012–2013 influenza season when an estimated:

24. 34 million people had symptomatic influenza illness6.

25. Peak activity during the 2018–2019 influenza season was classified as having moderate severity across ages in the population.

26. Compared with the 2017–2018 season , which was classified as high severity, the overall rates and burden of influenza were much lower during the 2018–2019 season (Table 2).

27. Among children, however, rates of influenza during the 2018–2019 season were similar to the 2017–2018 season.

28. In addition, the 2018–2019 season had two waves of activity, including a wave predominated by influenza A(H1N1)pdm09 viruses and another wave of similar magnitude attributable to influenza A(H3N2) viruses5.

29. The dual waves resulted in a protracted season during 2018–2019 that was less severe when compared with peak activity in 2017–2018, but resulted in a similar burden of illness in children by the end of the season.

30. During the 2018–2019 season, 136 deaths in children with laboratory–confirmed influenza virus infection were reported in the United States8.

31. However, influenza-associated pediatric deaths are likely under-reported as not all children whose death was related to an influenza virus infection may have been tested for influenza9,10.

32. By combining data on hospitalization rates, influenza testing practices, and the frequency of death in and out of the hospital from death certificates, we estimate that there were approximately 480  deaths associated with influenza in children during 2018–2019.

33. Our estimates of hospitalizations and mortality associated with the 2018–2019 influenza season continue to demonstrate how serious influenza virus infection can be.

34. We estimate, overall, there were:

35. 490,600 hospitalizations and

36. 34,200 deaths during the 2018–2019 season.

37. More than:

38. 46,000 hospitalizations occurred in children (aged <18 years); however,

39. 57% of hospitalizations occurred in older adults aged ≥65 years.

40. Older adults also accounted for:

41. 75% of influenza-associated deaths,

42. highlighting that older adults are particularly vulnerable to severe outcomes resulting from an influenza virus infection.

43. An estimated:

44. 8,100 deaths occurred among working age adults (aged 18–64 years), an age group that often has low influenza vaccination uptake11.

45. Conclusion

46. CDC estimates that influenza was associated with

47. more than:

48. 35.5 million illnesses,

49. more than

50. 16.5 million medical visits,

51. 490,600 hospitalizations, and

52. 34,200 deaths

53. during the 2018–2019 influenza season.

54. This burden was similar to estimated burden during the 2012–2013 influenza season1.

56. Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) Situation Summary

57. This is an emerging, rapidly evolving situation and CDC will provide updated information as it becomes available, in addition to updated guidance.

58. Updated February 23, 2020

59. Background

60. CDC is responding to an outbreak of respiratory disease caused by a novel (new) coronavirus that was first detected in Wuhan City, Hubei Province, China and which has now been detected in 32 locations internationally, including cases in the United States.

61. The virus has been named “SARS-CoV-2” and the disease it causes has been named “coronavirus disease 2019” (abbreviated “COVID-19”).

62. On January 30, 2020, the International Health Regulations Emergency Committee of the World Health Organization declared the outbreak a “public health emergency of international concernexternal icon” (PHEIC).

63. On January 31, 2020, Health and Human Services Secretary Alex M. Azar II declared a public health emergency (PHE) for the United States to aid the nation’s healthcare community in responding to COVID-19.

64. Source and Spread of the Virus

65. Coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that are common in many different species of animals, including camels, cattle, cats, and bats.

66. Rarely, animal coronaviruses can infect people and then spread between people such as with MERS-CoVSARS-CoV, and now with this new virus (named SARS-CoV-2).

67. The SARS-CoV-2 virus is a betacoronavirus, like MERS-CoV and SARS-CoV.

68. All three of these viruses have their origins in bats.

69. The sequences from U.S. patients are similar to the one that China initially posted, suggesting a likely single, recent emergence of this virus from an animal reservoir.

70. Early on, many of the patients in the COVID-19 outbreak in Wuhan, China had some link to a large seafood and live animal market, suggesting animal-to-person spread.

71. Later, a growing number of patients reportedly did not have exposure to animal markets, indicating person-to-person spread.

72. Person-to-person spread has been reported outside China, including in the United States and other locations.

73. Chinese officials report that sustained person-to-person spread in the community is occurring in China.

74. In addition, other destinations have apparent community spread, meaning some people have been infected who are not sure how or where they became infected.

75. Learn what is known about the spread of newly emerged coronaviruses.

92. Imported cases of COVID-19 in travelers have been detected in the U.S.

93. Person-to-person spread of COVID-19 also has been seen among close contacts of returned travelers from Wuhan, but at this time, this virus is NOT currently spreading in the community in the United States.

94. Illness Severity

95. Both MERS-CoV and SARS-CoV have been known to cause severe illness in people.

96. The complete clinical picture with regard to COVID-19 is not fully understood.

97. Reported illnesses have ranged from mild to severe, including illness resulting in death.

98. Learn more about the symptoms associated with COVID-19.

99. There are ongoing investigations to learn more.

100.        This is a rapidly evolving situation

101.        and information will be updated as it becomes available.

102.        Risk Assessment

103.        Outbreaks of novel virus infections among people are always of public health concern.

104.        The risk from these outbreaks depends on characteristics of the virus, including how well it spreads between people, the severity of resulting illness, and the medical or other measures available to control the impact of the virus (for example, vaccine or treatment medications).

105.        The fact that this disease has caused illness, including illness resulting in death, and sustained person-to-person spread is concerning.

106.        These factors meet two of the criteria of a pandemic.

107.        As community spread is detected in more and more countries, the world moves closer toward meeting the third criteria, worldwide spread of the new virus.

108.        The potential public health threat posed by COVID-19 is high, both globally and to the United States.

109.        But individual risk is dependent on exposure.

110.        For the general American public, who are unlikely to be exposed to this virus at this time, the immediate health risk from COVID-19 is considered low.

111.        Under current circumstances, certain people will have an increased risk of infection, for example healthcare workers caring for patients with COVID-19 and other close contacts of persons with COVID-19.

112.        CDC has developed guidance to help in the risk assessment and management of people with potential exposures to COVID-19.

113.        However, it’s important to note that current global circumstances suggest it is likely that this virus will cause a pandemic.

114.        In that case, the risk assessment would be different.

115.        What May Happen

116.        More cases are likely to be identified in the coming days, including more cases in the United States.

117.        It’s also likely that person-to-person spread will continue to occur, including in the United States.

118.        Widespread transmission of COVID-19 in the United States would translate into large numbers of people needing medical care at the same time.

119.        Schools, childcare centers, workplaces, and other places for mass gatherings may experience more absenteeism.

120.        Public health and healthcare systems may become overloaded, with elevated rates of hospitalizations and deaths.

121.        Other critical infrastructure, such as law enforcement, emergency medical services, and transportation industry may also be affected.

122.        Health care providers and hospitals may be overwhelmed.

123.        At this time, there is no vaccine to protect against COVID-19 and no medications approved to treat it.

124.        Nonpharmaceutical interventions would be the most important response strategy.

125.        CDC Response

126.        Global efforts at this time are focused concurrently on containing spread of this virus and mitigating the impact of this virus.

127.        The federal government is working closely with state, local, tribal, and territorial partners, as well as public health partners, to respond to this public health threat.

128.        The public health response is multi-layered, with the goal of detecting and minimizing introductions of this virus in the United States so as to reduce the spread and the impact of this virus.

129.        CDC is operationalizing all of its pandemic preparedness and response plans, working on multiple fronts to meet these goals, including specific measures to prepare communities to respond local transmission of the virus that causes COVID-19.

130.        There is an abundance of pandemic guidance developed in anticipation of an influenza pandemic that is being repurposed and adapted for a COVID-19 pandemic.

131.        Highlights of CDC’s Response

132.        CDC established a COVID-19 Incident Management System on January 7, 2020.

133.        On January 21, 2020, CDC activated its Emergency Operations Center to better provide ongoing support to the COVID-19 response.

134.        The U.S. government has taken unprecedented steps with respect to travel in response to the growing public health threat posed by this new coronavirus:

135.        Effective February 2, 2020, at 5pm, the U.S. government suspended entry of foreign nationals who have been in China within the past 14 days.

136.        U.S. citizens, residents, and their immediate family members who have been in Hubei province and other parts of mainland China are allowed to enter the United States, but they are subject to health monitoring and possible quarantine for up to 14 days.

137.        CDC has issued the following travel guidance related to COVID-19:

138.        China — Level 3, Avoid Nonessential Travel — last updated February 22;

139.        Japan — Level 2, Practice Enhanced Precautions — last updated February 22;

140.        South Korea — Level 2, Practice Enhanced Precautions — issued February 22;

141.        Hong Kong — Level 1, Practice Usual Precautions — issued February 19.

142.        CDC also recommends that all travelers reconsider cruise ship voyages into or within Asia at this time.

143.        CDC is issuing clinical guidance, including:

144.        An interim Health Alert Network (HAN) Update to inform state and local health departments and healthcare professionals about this outbreak on February 1, 2020.

145.        On January 30, 2020, CDC published guidance for healthcare professionals on the clinical care of  COVID-19 patients.

BARREL, the public and the media are rightly concerned about Corona Virus.

Above are details regarding INFLUENZA AND THE CORONAVIRUS that may alleviate some of the worry and put the matter in a clearer perspective.

Bottom line, POTUS TRUMP perhaps ought to focus more resources on combatting INFLUENZA (FLU) while at the same time taking all precautions regarding the CORONAVIRUS.

Was George Soros puppeteer during the Biden Obama administration? BARREL & PORK. We report! You decide!

1. PORK, do you think George Soros was the puppeteer during the Biden Obama administration and that Obama was the puppet?

2. BARREL, I did notice today that Attorney Alan Dershowitz states categorically that George Soros told Obama to investigate someone yet to be revealed.

https://m.facebook.com/Breitbart/posts/10164599422320354

3. And I do know that a puppeteer is a person who manipulates an inanimate object [in this case an animate object person] called a puppet to create the illusion that the puppet is alive.

DID NANCY PELOSI COMMIT A FELONY WHEN SHE RIPPED UP THE STATE OF THE UNION ADDRESS? If so, should she be prosecuted? We report. You decide. BARREL & PORK.

1. PORK, Nancy Pelosi mutilated the signed State of the Union address when she ripped it up.

2. Did she commit a felony in doing so?

3. 18 U.S. Code § 2071.Concealment, removal, or mutilation generally [reads]

Glenn Beck drops hydrogen bomb on democrats including Bidens and democrats. Claims they have been criminally money laundering our tax dollars to fund a proxy war against Russia and to enrich themselves. True or False? We report. You decide.

(c) ™ 2016 -2020

1. So BARREL, Glenn Beck dropped a hydrogen bomb on the democrats last night. Do you think Glenn Beck is right?

2. Glenn Beck has opinions about many things.

3. PORK, coming on the heals of total acquittal of POTUS TRUMP, Glenn dropped a hydrogen bomb on Joe and Hunter Biden and Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton and John Kerry and other democrats last night, a bomb blast from which the democrat party likely will never recover if true.

4. He showed us last night on his show a democrat Profile in Corruption that is a million times worse than Nixon’s Watergate ever hoped to be.

5. What Glenn showed us is what he says is evidence that Joe Biden and his son Hunter and Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton and John Kerry and other high level state department and CIA and FBI government officials and non-government people including at least one oligarch from Ukraine have been participating in a corrupt secret criminal multi- billion dollar money laundering operation using our tax dollars at the very least through Burisma and an Oligarch in Ukraine and a Ukraine bank.

6. BARREL, if that is true, that certainly is treason. It is high crimes and misdemeanor criminal activity and conduct. It is real obstruction of Congress. It is real abuse of power. Why on earth would the people Glenn mentioned do that?

7. PORK, Glenn says these people have done so in secret and they are doing so in secret without congressional approval in order to buy arms and fund a secret Proxy War against Russia and in the process some of them and their family members and cronies have secretly personally gotten rich – see Profiles in Corruption – and at the same time serious amounts of these secretly laundered U.S. government funds. our tax dollars, have been secretly funneled back into the DNC and to democrat candidates and democrat campaigns.

8. BARREL, this sounds like a conspiracy theory to me. If it is true though, if Glenn is correct, this explains so much.

9. How so, PORK?

10. BARREL, if this is true, it explains many if not all of the real reasons why the democrats from before his inauguration were bent on impeaching POTUS TRUMP and were and still are so over the top vociferous about Putin Russia collusion.

11. This is a far more reasonable explanation. It is not so much that they don’t like POTUS TRUMP, it is that they fear and indeed are terrified that he and AG Barr and John Durham and Rudy Giuliani and others know and are on to them.

12. The anti-POTUS TRUMP media has focused our attention on the idea that all this impeachment is about the simple fact that Hillary lost the election. In hindsight, now, and if Glenn is correct, simple loss of an election is not the compelling reason for all the heat POTUS TRUMP and his family and the nation have been experiencing since POTUS TRUMP was elected.

13. If it is true that these people have been criminally laundering billion(s) of our hard earned tax money , fear, indeed the sheer terror, of getting caught criminally money laundering our tax dollars to fund a secret proxy war against Russia and enrich themselves and fund the DNC and democrat candidates is a far more compelling reason for all the still ongoing vitriol. If true, they are afraid and actually terrified because they have done wrong and committed treason and high crimes against America.

14. I mean, if this is true and they are in fact secretly funding a proxy war against Russia can you even begin to quantify the unconstitutionality and the sheer stupidity and extreme risk to Americans and the world?

15. If this is true, it explains why Joe Biden was giving Ukraine and a criminal Oligarch huge money and as this unravels it may be and begin to explain the real reason why POTUS OBAMA and Joe gave Iran billions during the month before they left office.

16. If this is true, Glenn’s presentation begins to explain why Hunter Biden was involved on the board of Burisma the Oligarch company’s board. This is not just a simple story of a Vice President’s kid ending up in Ukraine on the board of a corrupt company Burisma owned by the same criminal Oligarch who received U.S. billions as part of the criminal money laundering scheme.

17. If this is true, it explains why the DNC and Schiff and Nadler and Pelosi and Schumer and CIA people are so terrified and intent on accusing POTUS TRUMP of Russian collusion and why they impeached him. This suggests that they know about and even may have participated in the criminal money laundering thru Ukraine to fund the proxy war against Russia. They may have been participants and recipients. They are complicit if they knew. They are co-conspirators if they knew and took laundered U.S. money.

18. If this is true, it may explain why POTUS Obama and Hillary have all but disappeared and been so quiet.

19. If this is true, as the web unravels it may explain in part the millions if not billions funneled to the Clintons and the Clinton Foundation.

20. If this is true, there are a number of highest level people who deserve to be wearing felony treason striped jump suits for many years to come. If true, this starts to explain Vinman and the Ukraine ambassador and Bolton.

21. If this is true, it explains why Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler and Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer and the democrats have been off the charts angry and fearful of POTUS TRUMP talking to Putin outside of their presence – beside themselves wanting to know what was said between the two men.

22. If this is true, it does explain Vinman and John Bolton because they knew and participated. It likely even explains the Whistleblower. It likely explains Bolton’s firing. At the same time somebody ought to look into where Bernie Sanders got his millions.

23. If this is true, it explains the true reasons for POTUS TRUMP’S Ukraine calls. If he was withholding aid at all, and hoping for an investigation, he would have been doing so in order to further document the secret criminal money laundering and secret criminal funding of a proxy war against Russia.

24. If this is true, it [criminal money laundering] may also explain how and where Barack Obama got the funding to win the election and beat Romney and how other Senators and congress persons got and get their campaign funding. It may even explain how Bernie got so rich. And it may explain much of the media vitriol and fake news if the media network leadership knew where the multi-millions in advertising and PR money was coming from.

25. If this is true, it may also tie back to George Soros and the globalist agenda.

26. If this is true, this may also begin to explain why no-experience Hunter Biden got $1.5 billion from China. Glenn says he is going to explain this one next week. He and his team claim to have followed the money. Glenn claims he is going to tell us where the $1.5 billion from China went. I’m going to guess that the $1.5 billion was not hedge fund money at all.

27. If this is true, it explains why Schiff and Nadler and Pelosi and Schumer and the Podestas and the DNC and other congress people and senators and why the anti-TRUMP media have pushed Russia Collusion, Russia Collusion, Russia Collusion, Quid Pro Quo, Bribery, and other charges against POTUS TRUMP.

28. If this is true, it is once again on the part of the democrats a blatant case of Saul Alinsky 101 accuse your opponent of what you are doing.

29. Yes, BARREL, and if this is true, if they have been criminally money laundering billions of our tax dollars to fund a criminal proxy war against Russia, Senator Chuck Grassley and Senator Lindsey Graham and AG Barr and John Durham and all of the media including those that have been anti-TRUMP for so long better double down and check out Glenn Beck’s hydrogen bomb presentation carefully and if true we can only hope they will stand up and be counted and bring those people who are responsible to justice.

30. PORK, I’ll bet POTUS TRUMP and AG Barr and John Durham already know all of this. AG Barr and Rudy Giuliani have flown to countries to get the facts. I can’t imagine that they do not already know all of this. Let’s see what they do about it. If true, hopefully they won’t wait too long to eliminate any thought of two-tiered justice.

31. We report. You decide.

Analysis Mitt Romney vote to remove POTUS TRUMP from office. BARREL & PORK.

1. PORK, what do you think of Mitt Romney’s remarks and his voting for witnesses and his vote to remove POTUS TRUMP from office?

2. You know, BARREL, I’m not willing to give Mitt a pass for doing so. I for one am not willing to allow him to use his religion to weasel out of accountability for having sided with the partisan democrats -because such is a disservice to his religion and a left handed disservice to all of his colleagues and their religions. Mitt says he voted for POTUS TRUMP’S removal from office as a matter of conscience (before God and his religion and his immediate family and grandchildren and the voters in Utah and the nation), and because he took an oath to render impartial justice, and for these reasons he is voting to remove POTUS TRUMP from office. Actually, those are Mitt’s excuses for Mitt’s conduct. At the heart of his argument is his one stated real reason for voting to remove POTUS TRUMP from office.

3. Mitt’s stated real reason is that there is no reasonable doubt but what house managers made the case that POTUS TRUMP wrongfully asked a foreign nation to investigate a political rival and his son who did not commit crimes and that POTUS TRUMP wrongfully withheld military aid and by doing so POTUS TRUMP should be removed from office.

4. So let’s see if that is true. Did the house managers in fact make their case beyond a reasonable doubt?  The answer is no they did not, no matter how many Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler generalities and “Trump will sell out Alaska to the Russians” histrionics and Mitt Romney anti-TRUMP votes might be presented to the Senate, and here is why.

5. First, did 197 Republican House members and 1 Independent member have reasonable doubt about POTUS TRUMP’S guilt and vote before God, their religion, and their family, and their constituencies and the nation not to impeach POTUS TRUMP? Of course they did. To say otherwise defies logic. The House case brought to the Senate only by the democrats is partisan and a partisan impeachment on its face is filled with reasonable doubt. There is obvious reasonable doubt which demanded a vote of acquittal.

6. Second, Mitt wrongfully says Joe and his son are not guilty of crimes; yet there is reasonable doubt as to Joe Biden’s and his son’s and his other family members’ “Profiles in Corruption” – i.e. their guilt or innocence of criminal activity including money laundering?  Of course there is. And criminal and Senate investigations are in order. Did Joe and his son corruptly receive a billion+ dollars from China knowing that Joe’s son only got the money because Joe was Vice President who wrongfully and corruptly directly or indirectly made arrangements with the Chinese? Did Joe’s son corruptly get (and keep) his lucrative million dollar job with Burisma because of Joe’s corruption? Looks like he did just that. At the same time there is more than reasonable doubt as to POTUS TRUMP’S communications with the Ukraine president [the Ukraine president testified there was no quid pro quo and no investigation of the Bidens and no withholding of funding]. Yet we have Joe admitting on camera while laughing that he in fact corruptly withheld funding to the Ukraine in order to remove a prosecutor looking into Burisma, a corrupt company with Joe’s son on its board. Did Joe corruptly and criminally misuse his office to enrich himself, his son, his brother and other family members and others? (Peter Sweizer says in his investigative book Profiles in Corruption that he did. The counsel for POTUS TRUMP says Joe corruptly misused his office.) Once more there is reasonable doubt which demanded a vote of acquittal.

7. Third, did Adam Schiff lie multiple times about POTUS TRUMP during the hearings and gerrymander the hearings to preclude Republican participation? Of course he did. Do Adam Schiff’s lies and star chamber hearings cause reasonable doubt? Of course they do. Once again there is obvious reasonable doubt which demanded a vote of acquittal.

8. Fourth, do the letters from POTUS TRUMP leave us with reasonable doubt as to POTUS TRUMP’S intent? Of course they do. [Keep in mind that there is no way you can prove mal-intent on the part of POTUS TRUMP from the letters even though the Whistleblower claimed as much until POTUS TRUMP released the letters.] Most importantly, the president of Ukraine testifies that there was and is no wrongdoing, again no quid pro quo, no withholding of aid or Javelins, no compulsion to investigate anyone. Does the Ukraine President’s testimony on multiple occasions not create reasonable doubt? Of course it does. There is reasonable doubt which demanded aquittal.

9. Fifth, John Bolton was fired and is writing a book and other witnesses are under criminal prosecution and John Bolton refused to testify in the House and refused to sign an Affidavit to be used by the Schiff group in the Senate hearings. And then we have the whistleblowers and their motives and their veracity and their relationship with Adam Schiff and Adam Shift’s staff all of which has been kept secret from the House and Senate. Is not this highly suspect? Of course it is. There is obvious reasonable doubt about such testimony.

10. Sixth, we come to the Constitutional nature of impeachment and the fact that this was a partisan impeachment. Does that in and of itself create reasonable doubt? Of course it does. Once again, a partisan impeachment was not contemplated by the Framers and is laden with reasonable doubt. So again there is obvious reasonable doubt which easily demanded a vote of acquittal.

11. Seventh, we ask a practical question. Given all of the above reasonable doubt, would Mitt’s constituency and Mitt’s party want Mitt siding with the partisan democrats to vote to remove POTUS TRUMP who has done more to help us be FREE, SAFE, and PROSPEROUS than any past POTUS except Lincoln and Washington? No they would not want such. In fact, Mitt ran on a promise that he would support POTUS TRUMP and there is a good argument that he has now betrayed his constituency in Utah. Yet, Mitt sidesteps responsibility by weeping and claiming that he voted his religion and conscience. Although he may have conferred with his conscience, it looks like Mitt went it alone without counselors. There is no hint from Mitt that he conferred with Mitch McConnell or his party leaders or his constituency in any way shape or form.

12. So PORK, having made the case for reasonable doubt, what is your bottom line take about Mitt Romney and his vote to remove POTUS TRUMP from office? Mitt says he voted with POTUS TRUMP 80% of the time, doesn’t that give Mitt a pass?

13. No, BARREL, Mitt does not get a pass by weeping and using the argument that he voted his conscience before God, family, the state, and the nation. Nor does he get a pass by using the argument that he voted with POTUS TRUMP 80% of the time. Given Mitt’s documented antipathy toward POTUS TRUMP, it is common sense that there is reasonable doubt as to why Mitt voted against POTUS TRUMP 20% of the time.

14. Bottom line is this. Mitt did not do his homework and think this matter through. He did not listen to his republican colleagues, did not pay attention to and take into account the partisan rigged House impeachment proceedings, did not confer in any way with his constituency, and either does not understand or willfully refused to acknowledge the concept of reasonable doubt which demanded a vote for acquittal. Mitt either does not understand or willfully refused to acknowledge the fact that Adam Schiff lied multiple times and conducted Star Chamber partisan proceedings all of which created reasonable doubt which reasonable doubt demanded a Senate vote for acquittal on all charges and counts.

15. One more time, the Star Chamber impeachment partisan proceedings carried out by Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler and Nancy Pelosi in the House on their face provide more than enough evidence of reasonable doubt and such overwhelming reasonable doubt demanded a vote for acquittal from and by all republican and democrat Senators.

16. So PORK, should someone in Utah start a recall petition? I understand legislation has been proposed in Utah that will allow impeachment and recall of a Senator.

17. Yes, I believe so, BARREL. Paraphrasing, Mitt said he expects negative nuclear extreme fallout from his decision. Given the overwhelming evidence of reasonable doubt which demanded a vote of acquittal, given the partisan nature of the impeachment activities, and the other reasons set forth above, that negative nuclear extreme fallout probably should include a vote on the part of Mitt’s constituency back in Utah for witnesses and a serious vote by the people of Utah to impeach and remove Mitt from office.

18. As a parting hard shot, PORK, and assuming the Utah voters do not recall him for whatever reason. I believe Mitt has a JD degree from Harvard. Mitt may want to learn from this experience never again to use his religion and conscience as reasons for a political decision. Instead, he may want to stand up and be counted and think the matter through like a man and the Supreme Court Justice he probably will not now become and render his reasoned decision based on the facts and the law.

POTUS TRUMP’S MASTERPIECE STATE OF THE UNION ADDRESS FEBRUARY 4TH 2020

1.       BARREL, here is POTUS TRUMP’S FEBRUARY 4TH 2020 STATE OF THE UNION speech.

2.       Thanks, PORK. It is a masterpiece.

POTUS TRUMP has kept more promises and done more for us BLACKS, WHITES, NATIVE AMERICANS, ASIANS, HISPANICS to help us be FREE, SAFE, and PROSPEROUS than any other POTUS except Lincoln and Washington.

3.       Madam Speaker, Mr. Vice President, Members of Congress, the First Lady of the United States, and my fellow citizens:

4.       Three years ago, we launched the great American comeback. Tonight, I stand before you to share the incredible results. Jobs are booming, incomes are soaring, poverty is plummeting, crime is falling, confidence is surging, and our country is thriving and highly respected again! America’s enemies are on the run, America’s fortunes are on the rise, and America’s future is blazing bright.

5.       The years of economic decay are over. The days of our country being used, taken advantage of, and even scorned by other nations are long behind us. Gone too are the broken promises, jobless recoveries, tired platitudes, and constant excuses for the depletion of American wealth, power, and prestige.

6.       In just 3 short years, we have shattered the mentality of American decline, and we have rejected the downsizing of America’s destiny. We are moving forward at a pace that was unimaginable just a short time ago, and we are never going back!

7.       I am thrilled to report to you tonight that our economy is the best it has ever been. Our military is completely rebuilt, with its power being unmatched anywhere in the world — and it is not even close. Our borders are secure. Our families are flourishing. Our values are renewed. Our pride is restored. And for all these reasons, I say to the people of our great country, and to the Members of Congress before me: The State of our Union is stronger than ever before!

8.       The vision I will lay out this evening demonstrates how we are building the world’s most prosperous and inclusive society — one where every citizen can join in America’s unparalleled success, and where every community can take part in America’s extraordinary rise.

9.       From the instant I took office, I moved rapidly to revive the United States economy — slashing a record number of job-killing regulations, enacting historic and record-setting tax cuts, and fighting for fair and reciprocal trade agreements. Our agenda is relentlessly pro-worker, pro-family, pro-growth, and, most of all, pro-American. We are advancing with unbridled optimism and lifting high our citizens of every race, color, religion, and creed.

10.   Since my election, we have created 7 million new jobs — 5 million more than Government experts projected during the previous administration.

11.   The unemployment rate is the lowest in over half a century.

12.   Incredibly, the average unemployment rate under my Administration is lower than any administration in the history of our country. If we had not reversed the failed economic policies of the previous administration, the world would not now be witness to America’s great economic success.

13.   The unemployment rates for African-Americans, Hispanic-Americans, and Asian-Americans have reached the lowest levels in history. African-American youth unemployment has reached an all-time low.

14.   African-American poverty has declined to the lowest rate ever recorded.

15.   The unemployment rate for women reached the lowest level in almost 70 years — and last year, women filled 72 percent of all new jobs added.

16.   The veterans’ unemployment rate dropped to a record low.

17.   The unemployment rate for disabled Americans has reached an all-time low.

18.   Workers without a high school diploma have achieved the lowest unemployment rate recorded in United States history.

19.   A record number of young Americans are now employed.

20.   Under the last administration, more than 10 million people were added to the food stamp rolls. Under my Administration, 7 million Americans have come off of food stamps, and 10 million people have been lifted off of welfare.

21.   In 8 years under the last administration, over 300,000 working-age people dropped out of the workforce. In just 3 years of my Administration, 3.5 million working-age people have joined the workforce.

22.   Since my election, the net worth of the bottom half of wage-earners has increased by 47 percent — 3 times faster than the increase for the top 1 percent. After decades of flat and falling incomes, wages are rising fast — and, wonderfully, they are rising fastest for low-income workers, who have seen a 16 percent pay-increase since my election. This is a blue collar boom.

23.   Real median household income is now at the highest level ever recorded!

24.   Since my election, United States stock markets have soared 70 percent, adding more than $12 trillion to our Nation’s wealth, transcending anything anyone believed was possible — this, as other countries are not doing well. Consumer confidence has reached amazing new heights.

25.   All of those millions of people with 401(k)s and pensions are doing far better than they have ever done before with increases of 60, 70, 80, 90, and even 100 percent.

26.   Jobs and investment are pouring into 9,000 previously-neglected neighborhoods thanks to Opportunity Zones, a plan spearheaded by Senator Tim Scott as part of our great Republican tax cuts. In other words, wealthy people and companies are pouring money into poor neighborhoods or areas that have not seen investment in many decades, creating jobs, energy, and excitement. This is the first time that these deserving communities have seen anything like this. It is all working!

27.   Opportunity Zones are helping Americans like Army Veteran Tony Rankins from Cincinnati, Ohio. After struggling with drug addiction, Tony lost his job, his house, and his family — he was homeless. But then Tony found a construction company that invests in Opportunity Zones. He is now a top tradesman, drug-free, reunited with his family, and he is here tonight. Tony: Keep up the great work.

28.   Our roaring economy has, for the first time ever, given many former prisoners the ability to get a great job and a fresh start. This second chance at life is made possible because we passed landmark Criminal Justice Reform into law. Everybody said that Criminal Justice Reform could not be done, but I got it done, and the people in this room got it done.

29.   Thanks to our bold regulatory reduction campaign, the United States has become the number one producer of oil and natural gas in the world, by far. With the tremendous progress we have made over the past 3 years, America is now energy independent, and energy jobs, like so many elements of our country, are at a record high. We are doing numbers that no one would have thought possible just 3 years ago.

30.   Likewise, we are restoring our Nation’s manufacturing might, even though predictions were that this could never be done. After losing 60,000 factories under the previous two administrations, America has now gained 12,000 new factories under my Administration with thousands upon thousands of plants and factories being planned or built. We have created over half a million new manufacturing jobs. Companies are not leaving; they are coming back. Everybody wants to be where the action is, and the United States of America is, indeed, where the action is.

31.   One of the single biggest promises I made to the American people was to replace the disastrous NAFTA trade deal. In fact, unfair trade is perhaps the single biggest reason that I decided to run for President. Following NAFTA’s adoption, our Nation lost one in four manufacturing jobs. Many politicians came and went, pledging to change or replace NAFTA — only to do absolutely nothing. But unlike so many who came before me, I keep my promises. Six days ago, I replaced NAFTA and signed the brand new United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) into law.

32.   The USMCA will create nearly 100,000 new high-paying American auto jobs, and massively boost exports for our farmers, ranchers, and factory workers. It will also bring trade with Mexico and Canada to a much higher degree, but also to a much greater level of fairness and reciprocity. This is the first major trade deal in many years to earn the strong backing of America’s labor unions.

33.   I also promised our citizens that I would impose tariffs to confront China’s massive theft of American jobs. Our strategy worked. Days ago, we signed the groundbreaking new agreement with China that will defend our workers, protect our intellectual property, bring billions of dollars into our treasury, and open vast new markets for products made and grown right here in the United States of America. For decades, China has taken advantage of the United States, now we have changed that but, at the same time, we have perhaps the best relationship we have ever had with China, including with President Xi. They respect what we have done because, quite frankly, they could never believe what they were able to get away with year after year, decade after decade, without someone in our country stepping up and saying: Enough. Now, we want to rebuild our country, and that is what we are doing.

34.   As we restore American leadership throughout the world, we are once again standing up for freedom in our hemisphere. That is why my Administration reversed the failing policies of the previous administration on Cuba. We are supporting the hopes of Cubans, Nicaraguans, and Venezuelans to restore democracy. The United States is leading a 59-nation diplomatic coalition against the socialist dictator of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro. Maduro is an illegitimate ruler, a tyrant who brutalizes his people. But Maduro’s grip of tyranny will be smashed and broken. Here this evening is a man who carries with him the hopes, dreams, and aspirations of all Venezuelans. Joining us in the gallery is the true and legitimate President of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó. Mr. President, please take this message back to your homeland. All Americans are united with the Venezuelan people in their righteous struggle for freedom! Socialism destroys nations. But always remember, freedom unifies the soul.

35.   To safeguard American Liberty, we have invested a record-breaking $2.2 trillion in the United States Military. We have purchased the finest planes, missiles, rockets, ships, and every other form of military equipment — all made in the United States of America. We are also finally getting our allies to help pay their fair share. I have raised contributions from the other NATO members by more than $400 billion, and the number of allies meeting their minimum obligations has more than doubled.

36.   And just weeks ago, for the first time since President Truman established the Air Force more than 70 years earlier, we created a new branch of the United States Armed Forces, the Space Force.

37.   In the gallery tonight, we have one of the Space Force’s youngest potential recruits: 13-year-old Iain Lanphier, an eighth grader from Arizona. Iain has always dreamed of going to space. He was first in his class and among the youngest at an aviation academy. He aspires to go to the Air Force Academy, and then, he has his eye on the Space Force. As Iain says, “most people look up at space, I want to look down on the world.”

38.   Sitting beside Iain tonight is his great hero. Charles McGee was born in Cleveland, Ohio, one century ago. Charles is one of the last surviving Tuskegee Airmen — the first black fighter pilots — and he also happens to be Iain’s great-grandfather. After more than 130 combat missions in World War II, he came back to a country still struggling for Civil Rights and went on to serve America in Korea and Vietnam. On December 7th, Charles celebrated his 100th birthday. A few weeks ago, I signed a bill promoting Charles McGee to Brigadier General. And earlier today, I pinned the stars on his shoulders in the Oval Office. General McGee: Our Nation salutes you.

39.   From the pilgrims to our Founders, from the soldiers at Valley Forge to the marchers at Selma, and from President Lincoln to the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Americans have always rejected limits on our children’s future.

40.   Members of Congress, we must never forget that the only victories that matter in Washington are victories that deliver for the American people. The people are the heart of our country, their dreams are the soul of our country, and their love is what powers and sustains our country. We must always remember that our job is to put America first!

41.   The next step forward in building an inclusive society is making sure that every young American gets a great education and the opportunity to achieve the American Dream. Yet, for too long, countless American children have been trapped in failing government schools. To rescue these students, 18 States have created school choice in the form of Opportunity Scholarships. The programs are so popular, that tens of thousands of students remain on waiting lists. One of those students is Janiyah Davis, a fourth grader from Philadelphia. Janiyah’s mom Stephanie is a single parent. She would do anything to give her daughter a better future. But last year, that future was put further out of reach when Pennsylvania’s Governor vetoed legislation to expand school choice for 50,000 children.

42.   Janiyah and Stephanie are in the gallery this evening. But there is more to their story. Janiyah, I am pleased to inform you that your long wait is over. I can proudly announce tonight that an Opportunity Scholarship has become available, it is going to you, and you will soon be heading to the school of your choice!

43.   Now, I call on the Congress to give 1 million American children the same opportunity Janiyah has just received. Pass the Education Freedom Scholarships and Opportunity Act — because no parent should be forced to send their child to a failing government school.

44.   Every young person should have a safe and secure environment in which to learn and grow. For this reason, our magnificent First Lady has launched the “Be Best” initiative — to advance a safe, healthy, supportive, and drug-free life for the next generation, online, in school, and in our communities. Thank you, Melania, for your extraordinary love and profound care for America’s children.

45.   My Administration is determined to give our citizens the opportunities they need regardless of age or background. Through our Pledge to American Workers, over 400 companies will also provide new jobs and education opportunities to almost 15 million Americans.

46.   My Budget also contains an exciting vision for our Nation’s high schools. Tonight, I ask the Congress to support our students and back my plan to offer vocational and technical education in every single high school in America.

47.   To expand equal opportunity, I am also proud that we achieved record and permanent funding for our Nation’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities.

48.   A good life for American families also requires the most affordable, innovative, and high-quality healthcare system on Earth. Before I took office, health insurance premiums had more than doubled in just 5 years. I moved quickly to provide affordable alternatives. Our new plans are up to 60 percent less expensive. I have also made an ironclad pledge to American families: We will always protect patients with pre-existing conditions — that is a guarantee. And we will always protect your Medicare and your Social Security.

49.   The American patient should never be blindsided by medical bills. That is why I signed an Executive Order requiring price transparency. Many experts believe that transparency, which will go into full effect at the beginning of next year, will be even bigger than healthcare reform. It will save families massive amounts of money for substantially better care.

50.   But as we work to improve Americans’ healthcare, there are those who want to take away your healthcare, take away your doctor, and abolish private insurance entirely. One hundred thirty-two lawmakers in this room have endorsed legislation to impose a socialist takeover of our healthcare system, wiping out the private health insurance plans of 180 million Americans. To those watching at home tonight, I want you to know: We will never let socialism destroy American healthcare!

51.   Over 130 legislators in this chamber have endorsed legislation that would bankrupt our Nation by providing free taxpayer-funded healthcare to millions of illegal aliens, forcing taxpayers to subsidize free care for anyone in the world who unlawfully crosses our borders. These proposals would raid the Medicare benefits our seniors depend on, while acting as a powerful lure for illegal immigration. This is what is happening in California and other States — their systems are totally out of control, costing taxpayers vast and unaffordable amounts of money. If forcing American taxpayers to provide unlimited free healthcare to illegal aliens sounds fair to you, then stand with the radical left. But if you believe that we should defend American patients and American seniors, then stand with me and pass legislation to prohibit free Government healthcare for illegal aliens!

52.   This will be a tremendous boon to our already very-strongly guarded southern border where, as we speak, a long, tall, and very powerful wall is being built. We have now completed over 100 miles and will have over 500 miles fully completed by early next year.

53.   My Administration is also taking on the big pharmaceutical companies. We have approved a record number of affordable generic drugs, and medicines are being approved by the FDA at a faster clip than ever before. I was pleased to announce last year that, for the first time in 51 years, the cost of prescription drugs actually went down.

54.   And working together, the Congress can reduce drug prices substantially from current levels. I have been speaking to Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa and others in the Congress in order to get something on drug pricing done, and done properly. I am calling for bipartisan legislation that achieves the goal of dramatically lowering prescription drug prices. Get a bill to my desk, and I will sign it into law without delay.

55.   With unyielding commitment, we are curbing the opioid epidemic — drug overdose deaths declined for the first time in nearly 30 years. Among the States hardest hit, Ohio is down 22 percent, Pennsylvania is down 18 percent, Wisconsin is down 10 percent — and we will not quit until we have beaten the opioid epidemic once and for all.

56.   Protecting Americans’ health also means fighting infectious diseases. We are coordinating with the Chinese government and working closely together on the Coronavirus outbreak in China. My Administration will take all necessary steps to safeguard our citizens from this threat.

57.   We have launched ambitious new initiatives to substantially improve care for Americans with kidney disease, Alzheimer’s, and those struggling with mental health challenges. And because the Congress funded my request, we are pursuing new cures for childhood cancer, and we will eradicate the AIDS epidemic in America by the end of the decade.

58.   Almost every American family knows the pain when a loved one is diagnosed with a serious illness. Here tonight is a special man, someone beloved by millions of Americans who just received a Stage 4 advanced cancer diagnosis. This is not good news, but what is good news is that he is the greatest fighter and winner that you will ever meet. Rush Limbaugh: Thank you for your decades of tireless devotion to our country. Rush, in recognition of all that you have done for our Nation, the millions of people a day that you speak to and inspire, and all of the incredible work that you have done for charity, I am proud to announce tonight that you will be receiving our country’s highest civilian honor, the Presidential Medal of Freedom. I will now ask the First Lady of the United States to please stand and present you with the honor. Rush, Kathryn, congratulations!

59.   As we pray for all who are sick, we know that America is constantly achieving new medical breakthroughs. In 2017, doctors at St. Luke’s hospital in Kansas City delivered one of the earliest premature babies ever to survive. Born at just 21 weeks and 6 days, and weighing less than a pound, Ellie Schneider was born a fighter. Through the skill of her doctors — and the prayers of her parents — little Ellie kept on winning the battle for life. Today, Ellie is a strong, healthy 2-year-old girl sitting with her amazing mother Robin in the gallery. Ellie and Robin: We are so glad you are here.

60.   Ellie reminds us that every child is a miracle of life. Thanks to modern medical wonders, 50 percent of very premature babies delivered at the hospital where Ellie was born now survive. Our goal should be to ensure that every baby has the best chance to thrive and grow just like Ellie. That is why I am asking the Congress to provide an additional $50 million to fund neo-natal research for America’s youngest patients. That is also why I am calling upon the Members of Congress here tonight to pass legislation finally banning the late-term abortion of babies.

61.   Whether we are Republican, Democrat, or Independent, surely we must all agree that every human life is a sacred gift from God!

62.   As we support America’s moms and dads, I was recently proud to sign the law providing new parents in the Federal workforce paid family leave, serving as a model for the rest of the country. Now, I call on the Congress to pass the bipartisan Advancing Support for Working Families Act, extending family leave to mothers and fathers all across the Nation.

63.   Forty million American families have an average $2,200 extra thanks to our child tax credit. I have also overseen historic funding increases for high-quality child care, enabling 17 States to serve more children, many of which have reduced or eliminated their waitlists altogether. And I sent the Congress a plan with a vision to further expand access to high-quality childcare and urge you to act immediately.

64.   To protect the environment, days ago, I announced that the United States will join the One Trillion Trees Initiative, an ambitious effort to bring together Government and the private sector to plant new trees in America and around the world.

65.   We must also rebuild America’s infrastructure. I ask you to pass Senator Barrasso’s highway bill — to invest in new roads, bridges, and tunnels across our land.

66.   I am also committed to ensuring that every citizen can have access to high-speed internet, including rural America.

67.   A better tomorrow for all Americans also requires us to keep America safe. That means supporting the men and women of law enforcement at every level, including our Nation’s heroic ICE officers.

68.   Last year, our brave ICE officers arrested more than 120,000 criminal aliens charged with nearly 10,000 burglaries, 5,000 sexual assaults, 45,000 violent assaults, and 2,000 murders.

69.   Tragically, there are many cities in America where radical politicians have chosen to provide sanctuary for these criminal illegal aliens. In Sanctuary Cities, local officials order police to release dangerous criminal aliens to prey upon the public, instead of handing them over to ICE to be safely removed.

70.   Just 29 days ago, a criminal alien freed by the Sanctuary City of New York was charged with the brutal rape and murder of a 92-year-old woman. The killer had been previously arrested for assault, but under New York’s sanctuary policies, he was set free. If the city had honored ICE’s detainer request, his victim would be alive today.

71.   The State of California passed an outrageous law declaring their whole State to be a sanctuary for criminal illegal immigrants — with catastrophic results.

72.   Here is just one tragic example. In December 2018, California police detained an illegal alien with five prior arrests, including convictions for robbery and assault. But as required by California’s Sanctuary Law, local authorities released him.

73.   Days later, the criminal alien went on a gruesome spree of deadly violence. He viciously shot one man going about his daily work; he approached a woman sitting in her car and shot her in the arm and the chest. He walked into a convenience store and wildly fired his weapon. He hijacked a truck and smashed into vehicles, critically injuring innocent victims. One of the victims of his bloody rampage was a 51-year-old American named Rocky Jones. Rocky was at a gas station when this vile criminal fired eight bullets at him from close range, murdering him in cold blood. Rocky left behind a devoted family, including his brothers who loved him more than anything. One of his grieving brothers is here with us tonight. Jody, would you please stand? Jody, our hearts weep for your loss — and we will not rest until you have justice.

74.   Senator Thom Tillis has introduced legislation to allow Americans like Jody to sue Sanctuary Cities and States when a loved one is hurt or killed as a result of these deadly policies. I ask the Congress to pass the Justice for Victims of Sanctuary Cities Act immediately. The United States of America should be a sanctuary for law-abiding Americans — not criminal aliens!

75.   In the last 3 years, ICE has arrested over 5,000 wicked human traffickers — and I have signed 9 pieces of legislation to stamp out the menace of human trafficking, domestically and around the globe.

76.   My Administration has undertaken an unprecedented effort to secure the southern border of the United States.

77.   Before I came into office, if you showed up illegally on our southern border and were arrested, you were simply released and allowed into our country, never to be seen again. My Administration has ended Catch-and-Release. If you come illegally, you will now be promptly removed. We entered into historic cooperation agreements with the Governments of Mexico, Honduras, El Salvador, and Guatemala. As a result of our unprecedented efforts, illegal crossings are down 75 percent since May — dropping 8 straight months in a row. And as the wall goes up, drug seizures rise, and border crossings go down.

78.   Last year, I traveled to the border in Texas and met Chief Patrol Agent Raul Ortiz. Over the last 24 months, Agent Ortiz and his team have seized more than 200,000 pounds of poisonous narcotics, arrested more than 3,000 human smugglers, and rescued more than 2,000 migrants. Days ago, Agent Ortiz was promoted to Deputy Chief of Border Patrol — and he joins us tonight. Chief Ortiz: Please stand — a grateful Nation thanks you and all the heroes of Border Patrol.

79.   To build on these historic gains, we are working on legislation to replace our outdated and randomized immigration system with one based on merit, welcoming those who follow the rules, contribute to our economy, support themselves financially, and uphold our values.

80.   With every action, my Administration is restoring the rule of law and re-asserting the culture of American freedom. Working with Senate Majority Leader McConnell and his colleagues in the Senate, we have confirmed a record number of 187 new Federal judges to uphold our Constitution as written. This includes two brilliant new Supreme Court Justices, Neil Gorsuch, and Brett Kavanaugh.

81.   My Administration is also defending religious liberty, and that includes the Constitutional right to pray in public schools. In America, we do not punish prayer. We do not tear down crosses. We do not ban symbols of faith. We do not muzzle preachers and pastors. In America, we celebrate faith. We cherish religion. We lift our voices in prayer, and we raise our sights to the Glory of God!

82.   Just as we believe in the First Amendment, we also believe in another Constitutional right that is under siege all across our country. So long as I am President I will always protect your Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms.

83.   In reaffirming our heritage as a free Nation, we must remember that America has always been a frontier nation. Now we must embrace the next frontier, America’s manifest destiny in the stars. I am asking the Congress to fully fund the Artemis program to ensure that the next man and the first woman on the moon will be American astronauts — using this as a launching pad to ensure that America is the first nation to plant its flag on Mars.

84.   My Administration is also strongly defending our national security and combating radical Islamic terrorism. Last week, I announced a groundbreaking plan for peace between Israel and the Palestinians. Recognizing that all past attempts have failed, we must be determined and creative in order to stabilize the region and give millions of young people the change to realize a better future.

85.   Three years ago, the barbarians of ISIS held over 20,000 square miles of territory in Iraq and Syria. Today, the ISIS territorial caliphate has been 100 percent destroyed, and the founder and leader of ISIS — the bloodthirsty killer Al‑Baghdadi — is dead!

86.   We are joined this evening by Carl and Marsha Mueller. After graduating from college, their beautiful daughter Kayla became a humanitarian aid worker. Kayla once wrote, “Some people find God in church. Some people find God in nature. Some people find God in love; I find God in suffering. I’ve known for some time what my life’s work is, using my hands as tools to relieve suffering.” In 2013, while caring for suffering civilians in Syria, Kayla was kidnapped, tortured, and enslaved by ISIS, and kept as a prisoner of Al-Baghdadi himself. After more than 500 horrifying days of captivity, Al-Baghdadi murdered young Kayla. She was just 26 years old.

87.   On the night that United States Special Forces Operators ended Al‑Baghdadi’s miserable life, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley, received a call in the Situation Room. He was told that the brave men of the elite Special Forces team, that so perfectly carried out the operation, had given their mission a name — “Task Force 8-14.” It was a reference to a special day: August 14th — Kayla’s birthday. Carl and Marsha, America’s warriors never forgot Kayla — and neither will we.

88.   Every day, America’s men and women in uniform demonstrate the infinite depths of love that dwells in the human heart.

89.   One of these American heroes was Army Staff Sergeant Christopher Hake. On his second deployment to Iraq in 2008, Sergeant Hake wrote a letter to his 1-year-old son, Gage: “I will be with you again,” he wrote to Gage. “I will teach you to ride your first bike, build your first sand box, watch you play sports and see you have kids also. I love you son, take care of your mother. I am always with you. Dad.” On Easter Sunday of 2008, Chris was out on patrol in Baghdad when his Bradley Fighting Vehicle was hit by a roadside bomb. That night, he made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Sergeant Hake now rests in eternal glory in Arlington, and his wife Kelli is in the gallery tonight, joined by their son, who is now 13 years old. To Kelli and Gage: Chris will live in our hearts forever.

90.   The terrorist responsible for killing Sergeant Hake was Qasem Soleimani, who provided the deadly roadside bomb that took Chris’s life. Soleimani was the Iranian Regime’s most ruthless butcher, a monster who murdered or wounded thousands of American service members in Iraq. As the world’s top terrorist, Soleimani orchestrated the deaths of countless men, women, and children. He directed the December assault on United States Forces in Iraq, and was actively planning new attacks. That is why, last month, at my direction, the United States Military executed a flawless precision strike that killed Soleimani and terminated his evil reign of terror forever.

91.   Our message to the terrorists is clear: You will never escape American justice. If you attack our citizens, you forfeit your life!

92.   In recent months, we have seen proud Iranians raise their voices against their oppressive rulers. The Iranian regime must abandon its pursuit of nuclear weapons, stop spreading terror, death, and destruction, and start working for the good of its own people. Because of our powerful sanctions, the Iranian economy is doing very poorly. We can help them make it very good in a short period of time, but perhaps they are too proud or too foolish to ask for that help. We are here. Let’s see which road they choose. It is totally up to them.

93.   As we defend American lives, we are working to end America’s wars in the Middle East.

94.   In Afghanistan, the determination and valor of our warfighters has allowed us to make tremendous progress, and peace talks are underway. I am not looking to kill hundreds of thousands of people in Afghanistan, many of them innocent. It is also not our function to serve other nations as a law enforcement agency. These are warfighters, the best in the world, and they either want to fight to win or not fight at all. We are working to finally end America’s longest war and bring our troops back home!

95.   War places a heavy burden on our Nation’s extraordinary military families, especially spouses like Amy Williams from Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and her 2 children — 6-year-old Elliana and 3-year-old Rowan. Amy works full time, and volunteers countless hours helping other military families. For the past 7 months, she has done it all while her husband, Sergeant First Class Townsend Williams, is in Afghanistan on his fourth deployment to the Middle East. Amy’s kids have not seen their father’s face in many months. Amy, your family’s sacrifice makes it possible for all of our families to live in safety and peace — we thank you.

96.   As the world bears witness tonight, America is a land of heroes. This is the place where greatness is born, where destinies are forged, and where legends come to life. This is the home of Thomas Edison and Teddy Roosevelt, of many great Generals, including Washington, Pershing, Patton, and MacArthur. This is the home of Abraham Lincoln, Frederick Douglass, Amelia Earhart, Harriet Tubman, the Wright Brothers, Neil Armstrong, and so many more. This is the country where children learn names like Wyatt Earp, Davy Crockett, and Annie Oakley. This is the place where the pilgrims landed at Plymouth and where Texas patriots made their last stand at the Alamo.

97.   The American Nation was carved out of the vast frontier by the toughest, strongest, fiercest, and most determined men and women ever to walk the face of the Earth. Our ancestors braved the unknown; tamed the wilderness; settled the Wild West; lifted millions from poverty, disease, and hunger; vanquished tyranny and fascism; ushered the world to new heights of science and medicine; laid down the railroads, dug out canals, raised up the skyscrapers — and, ladies and gentlemen, our ancestors built the most exceptional Republic ever to exist in all of human history. And we are making it greater than ever before!

98.   This is our glorious and magnificent inheritance.

99.   We are Americans. We are the pioneers. We are the pathfinders. We settled the new world, we built the modern world, and we changed history forever by embracing the eternal truth that everyone is made equal by the hand of Almighty God.

100.           America is the place where anything can happen! America is the place where anyone can rise. And here, on this land, on this soil, on this continent, the most incredible dreams come true!

101.           This Nation is our canvas, and this country is our masterpiece. We look at tomorrow and see unlimited frontiers just waiting to be explored. Our brightest discoveries are not yet known. Our most thrilling stories are not yet told. Our grandest journeys are not yet made. The American Age, the American Epic, the American Adventure, has only just begun!

102.           Our spirit is still young; the sun is still rising; God’s grace is still shining; and my fellow Americans, the best is yet to come!

103.           Thank you. God Bless You. God Bless America.

Nancy Pelosi gets a D grade for failing America and her district. BARREL & PORK.

1. BARREL, when is Nancy Pelosi up for re-election and what grade do you give her and would you vote for her?

2. PORK, she is running for re-election to the U.S. House to represent California’s 12th Congressional District and is on the ballot in the primary election on March 3, 2020 and I give her a D grade. And no I would not vote for her.

3. Why do you give her a grade of D and why would you not vote for her, BARREL? That seems kind of harsh.

4. Not harsh at all. The D grade is warranted. It is obvious she doesn’t understand politics, PORK, because she has done nothing of value to help us be FREE, SAFE, and PROSPEROUS; and for this reason I give her a grade of D. From appearances, she egotistically thinks it is about her when in fact politics is about helping us.

5. What do you mean, she doesn’t understand politics, BARREL? She has served as Speaker of the House and has been engaged in politics for a number of years.

6. PORK, just because a person gets elected and is given a title and is able to chair the House does not mean that person understands politics. Think of it, PORK. She obviously doesn’t love and care for us the electorate because she has done nothing for us. Like Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler and Chuck Schumer, she has wasted months even years of our time and at the same time she has wasted 30 million dollars plus of our hard earned money (and that number is probably closer to multi billions of dollars when you add in the cost of lost opportunities to the nation). Seeking for power, she has wasted our time and hard earned money in foolish investigations and impeachment activities while at the same time doing nothing to help us or her district be FREE, SAFE, and PROSPEROUS.

7. As a signal example, just think of how she has let San Francisco tragically be trashed and go down hill.

8. PORK, she has done little or nothing to help us be FREE, SAFE, and PROSPEROUS and what she has done if anything now that elections are upon her is too little too late.

9. BARREL, I agree. We told her months ago not to go down the negative road of impeachment, not to follow the negative ilks of Schiff and Nadler and Schumer and the PR and Advertising and other negative consultants, rather to focus on and actually DO SOMETHING positive to help us be FREE, SAFE, and PROSPEROUS, but she didn’t listen and now because she has followed the negative road she has reaped the negative consequences.

10. Yes, PORK. Now having failed the nation and I might add failed the unborn she is saddled with a D grade (and giving her a D is a gift because she deserves an F-) which grade is one of the worst political records in history  because worst of all she has failed to help her district be FREE, SAFE, and PROSPEROUS. At the same time, while she has beaten up on POTUS TRUMP and his family unmercifully, it is obvious that he understands politics and he receives an A+ grade because he has focused his energies on keeping his promises and helping us be FREE, SAFE, and PROSPEROUS.

Grade A+ for POTUS TRUMP’S STATE OF THE UNION SPEECH AND PERFORMANCE TO-DATE HELPING US BE FREE, SAFE, AND PROSPEROUS.

1.      BARREL, what grade do you give POTUS TRUMP’S STATE OF THE UNION SPEECH TO THE NATION and his performance to-date?

2.      PORK, POTUS TRUMP is a STATESMAN and a POLITICAL GENIUS. I give him an A+.

3.       Why do you say that, BARREL?

4.       Despite overwhelming odds, opposition, and unwarranted, harshest partisan abuse to himself and his family, POTUS TRUMP HAS KEPT MORE POLITICAL PROMISES at home and abroad that help us Americans be FREE, SAFE, and PROSPEROUS than any other POTUS in history.

5. I agree, BARREL. Despite suffering immense partisan abuse, POTUS TRUMP has done more to help –
