So what do you think of Mitt Romney’s vote for witnesses and to convict? BARREL & PORK.

1. So PORK, what do you think of Mitt Romney’s vote for witnesses and vote to convict?

2. Well, BARREL, I think Mitt Romney is an interesting study in human nature.

3. How so, PORK.

4. BARREL, Mitt is handsome. He is smart. He is well dressed in his navy suit. He has held significant offices. He is straight laced. He ran for POTUS. He gives every appearance of having a strong religious moral compass. Notwithstanding, and I could be wrong, it does look like Mitt has a tragic fatal flaw.

5. What is a tragic fatal flaw, PORK?

6. Well, BARREL, a tragic fatal flaw is what is called hamartia or hamartanein, which means “to err.”

7. A tragic fatal flaw is a fatal personality deficiency that ultimately leads to the loss of influence and the downfall of the tragic hero.

8. This hamartia, this fatal flaw, fault, failure, guilt, is revealed in Greek tragedy by what the protagonist does and what he or she says.

9. This tragic flaw can be traits like ambition, cowardice, over-protectiveness, or self-sacrifice.

10. Actually, this tragic fatal flaw may be many different character traits if they become responsible for failure, self or other destruction, or death.

11. In a nutshell, a tragic fatal flaw is a character defect that leads to a person’s marginalization, self-destruction, and downfall.

12. Lack of self-knowledge or awareness, lack of good judgment are tragic fatal flaws; but most often hubris or pride  provides the seedbed for or is in fact the core tragic fatal flaw.

13. So how does this work, PORK?

14.  Well, BARREL, there are a number of persons with tragic fatal flaws in biblical accounts – people like David and Solomon and Saul and Judas had tragic fatal flaws. And there are those with tragic fatal flaws in the pages of fiction. Think for example about Shakespeare’s Hamlet.

15. One of Hamlet’s tragic fatal flaws is indecisiveness which is seen in his thinking about whether vengeance is wrong or right. This “back and forth nature” has a great deal to do with Hamlet’s ultimate downfall.

16. Hamlet wavers back and forth: “To be, or not to be – that is the question: Whether ’tis nobler in the mind to suffer The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune Or to take arms against a sea of troubles And by opposing end them. 10. Goethe’s Dr. Faustus’ tragic flaw is his overwhelming ambition which leads to what has come to be called his Faustian bargain with the Devil.

11. Because Faust was so ambitious, wanting unlimited knowledge and unlimited pleasures, he made a contract with Satan and sold his soul for short term gains – for the proverbial mess of pottage.

12. Finally, when Faust’s soul is taken to hell, Faust realizes his sin, tries to repent, but it was too late. Lucifer, the ruler of hell under Cain, had encircled Faust with his chains. Lucifer subjected Faust to his diabolical control.

11. We have Othello who killed his faithful Desdemona and having self-destructed kills himself. Othello was possessed by the tragic fatal flaw of jealousy.

12. And of course you know Sophocle’s Oedipus the King lacked humility. Oedipus was beset with pride which was his tragic fatal flaw.

13. In The Crucible by Arthur Miller, prideful John Proctor goes to his death because of his pride.

14. So what you are saying, PORK, is that Mitt Romney has a tragic fatal flaw despite the fact that he was elected governor and senator and has millions in Switzerland and a beautiful family.

15. What is it, PORK? What is Mitt’s tragic fatal flaw?

16. You know, BARREL, I do not think I am wrong although I certainly could be wrong.

17.  I think Mitt’s tragic fatal flaw is best identified and defined by how Mitt treated and treats POTUS TRUMP. Mitt’s tragic fatal flaw may be defined by an analysis of Mitt’s election loss contrasted with POTUS TRUMP’S election win but I think that approach may be superficial. Mitt appears to have the same prideful tragic fatal flaw possessed by Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler and Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer.

18. Remember these facts which were all over the newspapers, tabloids, television and radio.

19. Remember that Mitt asked POTUS TRUMP to support him when Mitt ran for POTUS.

20. If I’ve got my facts right, Mitt and his wife dined with POTUS TRUMP, schmoozed POTUS TRUMP and Melania, and POTUS TRUMP graciously and with largeness of soul gave Mitt his unwavering support.

21. Juxtapose when POTUS TRUMP ran for office and POTUS TRUMP asked Mitt for his support.

22. Mitt refused to give POTUS TRUMP his unwavering support. In fact, Mitt trashed POTUS TRUMP and has continued to trash POTUS TRUMP repeatedly.

23. So I think this may well say it all. It is no wonder POTUS TRUMP did not take Mitt into his cabinet.

24. More precisely, Mitt’s tragic fatal flaw appears to be his violation and continued violation of the American, indeed world-wide, honor code of reciprocity.

25. Today in the partisan democrat driven Senate trial, given Mitt’s vocal call for witnesses, and Mitt’s leaning toward voting against POTUS TRUMP, it would appear that Mitt egotistically and jealously and with enmity and ill will is doing the same thing again to POTUS TRUMP.

16. So PORK, are you just saying that Mitt was willing to take but unwilling to give? Are you just saying that Harvard Bain Capital millionaire Mitt felt pridefully entitled to Builder Entrepreneur billionaire POTUS TRUMP’S support because Mitt believed he was one of the moral and financial and elected elite? Are you saying that it appears that Harvard Bain Capital Mitt thinks he is so much “better than Builder Entrepreneur billionaire POTUS TRUMP?”

17. Yes, BARREL. I think that says it well. Recognizing and admitting the perils of judging, and acknowledging that I could be wrong, Mitt’s tragic fatal flaw appears to be his pride and lack of humility. It appears to those of us watching from the sidelines that at the heart of this matter, Mitt’s conduct in reality is not based on moral principle; instead it is Mitt’s continuing failure to care for and love POTUS TRUMP and his family despite their perceived frailties. Mitt’s tragic fatal flaw appears to be his ongoing failure to embrace POTUS TRUMP and his family as well POTUS TRUMP’S election win. Mitt’s tragic fatal flaw appears to be an unceasing enmity and antipathy toward POTUS TRUMP because of who Mitt Romney judges POTUS TRUMP and his family to be. This same conclusion is true of Adam and Jerry and Chuck and Nancy. Their impeachment is driven not be a search for truth, although methinks they profess the same vociferously, rather their impeachment activities are driven by enmity which is to say hatred of POTUS TRUMP because of who they perceive him to be.

Said another way, it appears to us deplorables that Harvard Bain Capital Mitt apparently thought and it looks like he still thinks he was and is somehow better than POTUS TRUMP and that he Harvard Bain Capital Mitt was robbed of the presidency and that he Mitt is deserving of POTUS TRUMP’S support. At the same time Harvard Bain Capital Mitt appears to believe that POTUS TRUMP for whatever reason did not and does not rise to Mitt’s high standard as being worthy and deserving of Mitt’s support or for that matter worthy of being POTUS. Not as an aside, and this is only one illustration, what Mitt is apparently unwilling to recognize is that POTUS TRUMP attended Kew-Forest School, Fordham University, New York Military Academy, and Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania not Harvard. POTUS TRUMP comes to the presidency from the hard knocks life of Architecture and Construction. POTUS TRUMP comes from the hard knocks life dealing with media people as well. If I’m not mistaken, POTUS TRUMP, Warren Buffett, Ivanka Trump, Elon Musk, Peter Lynch, Jon Huntsman Sr, are but a few of Wharton’s distinguished alumni. And I think Penn has produced the most billionaires on Forbe’s 400 Richest List – more than Harvard – if I am not mistaken. And I do believe POTUS TRUMP pulled off The Apprentice as one of the highest rated television shows ever. For anyone with a smattering of experience in broadcasting and other media, such took genius of the highest order, a level of genius POTUS Obama will not begin to reach with Netflix and Mitt did not reach at Bain. Then of course there is the amazing, admirable, now legendary come from behind unexpected presidency genius win by POTUS TRUMP, a win Mitt was unable to pull off.

19. So is there reconciliation between the two men PORK? And if so, how so PORK?

20.Sure, BARREL. There can be reconciliation but such reconciliation is more than likely not on POTUS TRUMP’S side of the ledger. He is POTUS. Mitt is not, No matter how much Mitt wants to be.

21. I mean, look at it, BARREL. It is probably as simple as this. POTUS TRUMP graciously offered Mitt his support. And Mitt appears to have judged POTUS TRUMP as unworthy and so refused to reciprocate.

22. Keep in mind, BARREL, POTUS TRUMP has gone on to keep more political promises and do more for the American people than any president since Lincoln and before him Washington. In no way can Mitt as Massachusett’s governor match POTUS TRUMP’S performance.

23. Seems to me that Mitt may be well advised to swallow his pride and shake hands with POTUS TRUMP and say “I’m sorry. I have been a jerk. I have not reciprocated” and thereby quickly and whole heartedly jump on the POTUS TRUMP band wagon and campaign and labor diligently to help POTUS TRUMP and the Republicans succeed in a second term, rather than kowtowing to Adam Schiff and Jerry Nadler and Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi and the rest of the partisan democrats. Why? Because any bargain by Mitt with or that rewards the partisan impeachment democrats is Faustian at best and the end result is more than likely not heaven.

24. Yes, PORK. And while we are having this interesting discussion, it certainly looks like the Utah electorate will have been hoodwinked by Mitt who appears to have carpet bagged his way to Utah so he could run for Orrin Hatch’s Senate Seat; and this for certain if Mitt now proves turncoat to the Republicans and POTUS TRUMP and then claims that he Mitt is righteous in prolonging this tedious democrat partisan impeachment by calling for witnesses or by voting against POTUS TRUMP because of some trumped up moral grounds.

25. Yes, BARREL. And don’t we all have one or more tragic fatal flaws?

26. We do, PORK. We all do. Tongue in cheek, even POTUS TRUMP has his share. There is a Book of Mormon scripture that says: “And if men come unto me [Jesus Christ] I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them.”
Ether 12:27 ” Our challenge is to recognize our tragic fatal flaws and get rid of them before they destroy us.

Thursday Q&A Grades: An A for all of the Senators on both sides of the aisle and for The Chief Justice and for POTUS TRUMP Counsel with an A+ for WH Counsel Patrick Philbin, and a D- for Adam Schiff and a C for Jerry Nadler and a C- for Nancy Pelosi and a B for Chuck Schumer and a B for the other House Managers.

1. BARREL, what do you think of the Senate trial so far?

2. Well, PORK, I honor all of the Senators for their decorum and the alacrity with which they have conducted this trial.

3. I honor the Chief Justice. He has done a superb job. I honor the Counsel for POTUS TRUMP, especially White House Counsel Patrick Philbin who receives an A+ grade.

4. Mr. Schiff and Mr. Nadler and Mr. Schumer and Mrs. Pelosi and the partisan democrats to the contrary lost their audience with their constant harangues on the first day of the trail. Mr. Schiff gets a D-. Mr. Nadler gets a C. Mr. Schumer gets a B and Mrs. Pelosi gets a C-.

5. Mr. Schiff’s and Mr. Nadler’s and Mr. Schumer’s and Mrs. Pelosi’s vendetta against POTUS TRUMP is all too apparent.

6. Their partisan democrat arguments are specious. They are superficially plausible. They in fact are wrong. Mr. Schiff and Mr. Nadler had their opportunity to call witnesses. The Senate has no need to call witnesses.

7. The President’s communications with Ukraine were appropriate.

8. All one need do is read the transcripts and watch John Bolton’s immensely favorable to POTUS TRUMP Ukraine interview recently released and found on Breitbart.

9. Joe Biden’s corruption is appalling. His behavior enriching himself and his family has been criminal. It is well within the purview of POTUS TRUMP and the DOJ to look into.

10. POTUS TRUMP has done more for the American people that any POTUS in history save Washington and Lincoln. At the ballot box, the American public will reward the positive performance of POTUS TRUMP and reelect him and the republicans and at the same time condemn the negative do nothing to help us be FREE, SAFE, and PROSPEROUS performance of the democrats.

White House POTUS TRUMP Counsel humorously wins case by skewering Democrats Nadler and Lofgren and Menendez and Schumer with their own words.

1. So PORK, White House Counsel Pat Cipollone concluded opening arguments in the president’s defense in the Senate impeachment trial on Tuesday afternoon by playing video clips of Democrats arguing against President Bill Clinton’s impeachment in 1998. 


2. Take a look at the video, PORK. 


3. You do have to wade thru an ad or two but it is worth it. 


4. This will go down in history as the greatest “gotcha” in the history of political and legal defense. 


5. Some of those Democrats — such as Reps. 

6. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) and 

7. Zoe Lofgren (D-CA) — 

8. are among the House managers urging the Senate to remove Trump from office. 

6. Others — such as then-Rep. Bob Menendez (D-NJ) — are now in the Senate themselves.

7. And of course we have Chuck Schumer as well.


8. These Democrats made the case for the Republicans.


9. What more is there to say? Nothing.


10. Senators need to ask their questions, vote to acquit and be done!

We surmise there are a number of angry democrat and republican voters who support POTUS TRUMP! BARREL & PORK.

PORK, I understand there are an overwhelming number of angry democrat and republican PRO-TRUMP voters out there.


Yes, BARREL. those angry voters, republicans and democrats and independents, know that POTUS TRUMP and his family have been abused to an intolerable level by the democrats Schiff, Nadler, Pelosi, Schumer and others.


In greater detail,

1.       Angry voters find Schiff, Nadler, Schumer, Pelosi are at best Boring.

2.       Angry voters find them Repetitive and Tedious.

3.       Angry voters find them to be amateurs and anything but professional.

4.       Angry voters are overwhelmingly tired of this one-sided democrat partisan hit job on POTUS TRUMP and his family.

5.       Angry voters hold the democrats accountable for spending $40 million plus in worthless investigations and hearings and for wasting the time and energy of the congress which could have dealt with infrastructure and the southern border wall and other measures helpful to FREEDOM, SAFETY, and PROSPERITY.

6.       Angry voters want to be happy and they know the democrats are responsible for making them and the country unhappy.

7.       Angry voters know life is going on tomorrow.

8.       Angry voters know the sun is going to come up.

9.       Angry voters know they are going to take care of what’s important in their lives.

10.   Angry voters know the impeachment outcome is not in doubt but such is no consolation.

11.   Angry voters know the GOP controls the Senate.

12.   Angry voters know the story is already written.

13.   Angry voters have their minds made up and an overwhelming majority are for POTUS TRUMP contrary to the effete democrat narrative. Given the media coverage of POTUS TRUMP, his approval rating is 80-90% not 45% as polls suggest.

14.   Angry voters know there is no possibility of removal.

15.   Angry voters know the democrats have wasted their time and their money and have trashed the country and have done nothing to help them be FREE, SAFE, and PROSPEROUS since POTUS TRUMP was elected and that the fix was in to impeach him from before his inauguration.

16.   Angry voters know the democrats have squandered $40 million plus of the nation’s money in these foolish investigations and hearings.

17.   Angry voters know the DNC should pay back the country far in excess of $40 million for their impeachment perfidy wrongfully and illegally foisted off on the American people.

18.   Angry voters know the democrats have no facts while the republican factual arguments have blown the Schiff Nadler democrat emotional arguments out of the water.

19.   Angry voters know the trial will end in acquittal.

20.   Angry voters know that the democrats conducted an illegal impeachment.

21.   Angry voters have fallen asleep during the democrat Schiff Nadler droning arguments and that there is no need for added witnesses to prolong the partisan charade.

22.   Angry voters know that it is a blatant lie that Schiff Nadler competently and legally conducted themselves during House impeachment hearings or Senate. They know that Schiff Nadler Pelosi Schumer have done nothing for their constituencies or the nation in general to help them be FREE, SAFE, and PROSPEROUS since POTUS was elected.

23.   Angry voters know the media is likewise skewed dramatically against POTUS Trump.

24.   Angry voters know that Joe Biden and his son and family are corrupt and that Joe and his family wrongfully took vast sums of money and that Joe failed miserably in his duties as Vice President and cannot show where he has helped us be FREE, SAFE, and PROSPEROUS.

25.   Angry voters know also that Joe Biden was complicit in all of the ill done by POTUS OBAMA and that “the Obama administration” is a euphemism and that POTUS Obama and Joe were responsible for all the negative produced during the Obama years.

After the first day of the Impeachment Defense by POTUS TRUMP’S lawyers, it looks like Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer and the democrats are still playing in the minor leagues and have boomerang stepped in it again and have egg on their faces, PORK. Only this time, POTUS TRUMP played for keeps.          Condemning and censuring Adam Schiff, Representative of California’s 28th Congressional District.

Whereas, President Trump released the transcript of a call between him and the President of Ukraine;

Whereas, President Trump subsequently released the whistleblower complaint of August 12, 2019;

Whereas, in a September 26, 2019, hearing on the whistleblower complaint, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff purported to relay the content of the phone call to the American people;

Whereas, instead of quoting directly from the available transcript, Chairman Schiff manufactured a false retelling of the conversation between President Trump and President Zelensky;

Whereas, this egregiously false and fabricated retelling had no relationship to the call itself;

Whereas, these actions of Chairman Schiff misled the American people, bring disrepute upon the House of Representatives, and make a mockery of the impeachment process, one of this chamber’s most solemn constitutional duties;

Whereas, for more than two years, Chairman Schiff has spread false accusations that the Trump Campaign colluded with Russia;

Whereas, on March 20, 2017, then-Ranking Member Schiff read out false allegations from the Steele dossier accusing numerous Trump associates of colluding with Russia;

Whereas, then-Ranking Member Schiff falsely claimed in a March 2017 interview to have “more than circumstantial evidence” of collusion with Russia;

Whereas, then-Ranking Member Schiff negotiated with Russian comedians who he believed to be Ukrainian officials to obtain materials to damage the President of the United States politically;

Whereas, members of the Intelligence Committee have lost faith in his objectivity and capabilities as Chairman, with every Republican member on the Committee having signed a letter calling for his immediate resignation as Chairman; and

Whereas, Chairman Schiff has hindered the ability of the Intelligence Committee to fulfill its oversight responsibilities of the Intelligence Community, an indispensable pillar of our national security: Now therefore, be it

Resolved, That—

(1) the House of Representatives censures and condemns Representative Adam Schiff for conduct that misleads the American people in a way that is not befitting an elected Member of the House of Representatives;

(2) Representative Adam Schiff will forthwith present himself in the well of the House for the pronouncement of censure; and

Today is Rare Disease day, and joining us in the gallery is a Rare Disease Survivor, Megan Crowley.  Megan was diagnosed with Pompe Disease, a rare and serious illness, when she was 15 months old.  She was not expected to live past 5. On receiving this news, Megan’s dad, John, fought with everything he had to save the life of his precious child.  He founded a company to look for a cure, and helped develop the drug that saved Megan’s life.  Today she is 20 years old – and a sophomore at Notre Dame. Megan’s story is about the unbounded power of a father’s love for a daughter. 

330.        FOOD AND DRUG ADMINISTRATION APPROVAL PROCESSES MUST BE ACCELERATED NOW. “But our slow and burdensome approval process at the Food and Drug Administration keeps too many advances, like the one that saved Megan’s life, from reaching those in need. But to achieve this future, we must enrich the mind –- and the souls –- of every American child. Education is the civil rights issue of our time. I am calling upon Members of both parties to pass an education bill that funds school choice for disadvantaged youth, including millions of African-American and Latino children.  These families should be free to choose the public, private, charter, magnet, religious or home school that is right for them.

332.        DENISHA MERRIWEATHER IS WITH US TONIGHT. WE MUST BREAK THE CYCLE OF VIOLENCE IN ORDER TO BREAK THE CYCLE OF POVERTY. “Joining us tonight in the gallery is a remarkable woman, Denisha Merriweather.  As a young girl, Denisha struggled in school and failed third grade twice. But then she was able to enroll in a private center for learning, with the help of a tax credit scholarship program. Today, she is the first in her family to graduate, not just from high school, but from college.  Later this year she will get her masters degree in social work. We want all children to be able to break the cycle of poverty just like Denisha. But to break the cycle of poverty, we must also break the cycle of violence.

333.        THE MURDER RATE IS HORRIFIC. MORE THAN 4,000 PEOPLE WERE SHOT IN CHICAGO LAST YEAR. THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE. “The murder rate in 2015 experienced its largest single-year increase in nearly half a century. In Chicago, more than 4,000 people were shot last year alone –- and the murder rate so far this year has been even higher. This is not acceptable in our society.

334.        EVERY AMERICAN CHILD MUST BE ABLE TO GROW UP IN A SAFE COMMUNITY, ATTEND A GREAT SCHOOL, AND HAVE ACCESS TO A HIGH-PAYING JOB. “Every American child should be able to grow up in a safe community, to attend a great school, and to have access to a high-paying job.

335.        WE MUST WORK WITH THE MEN AND WOMEN OF LAW ENFORCEMENT. “But to create this future, we must work with –- not against -– the men and women of law enforcement.

339.        WE MUST SUPPORT VICTIMS OF CRIME. “And we must support the victims of crime.

340.        I HAVE ORDERED THE DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY TO CREATE AN OFFICE TO SERVE AMERICAN VICTIMS. I WILL NOT FORGET THE BRAVE MEN AND WOMEN KILLED BY AN ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT WITH A CRIMINAL RECORD. ‘I have ordered the Department of Homeland Security to create an office to serve American Victims. The office is called VOICE –- Victims Of Immigration Crime Engagement. We are providing a voice to those who have been ignored by our media, and silenced by special interests. Joining us in the audience tonight are four very brave Americans whose government failed them. Their names are Jamiel Shaw, Susan Oliver, Jenna Oliver, and Jessica Davis. Jamiel’s 17-year-old son was viciously murdered by an illegal immigrant gang member, who had just been released from prison. Jamiel Shaw Jr. was an incredible young man, with unlimited potential who was getting ready to go to college where he would have excelled as a great quarterback.  But he never got the chance. His father, who is in the audience tonight, has become a good friend of mine. Also with us are Susan Oliver and Jessica Davis. Their husbands –- Deputy Sheriff Danny Oliver and Detective Michael Davis –- were slain in the line of duty in California. They were pillars of their community. These brave men were viciously gunned down by an illegal immigrant with a criminal record and two prior deportations. Sitting with Susan is her daughter, Jenna. Jenna:  I want you to know that your father was a hero, and that tonight you have the love of an entire country supporting you and praying for you. To Jamiel, Jenna, Susan and Jessica:  I want you to know –- we will never stop fighting for justice. Your loved ones will never be forgotten, we will always honor their memory.

341.        I AM ASKING CONGRESS TO APPROVE MY BUDGET TO PROVIDE THE MEN AND WOMEN OF THE UNITED STATES MILITARY WITH THE TOOLS THEY NEED TO PREVENT, FIGHT, AND WIN WAR – TO REBUILD OUR MILITARY, TO ELIMINATE THE DEFENSE SEQUESTER, TO INCREASE THE NATIONAL DEFENSE SPENDING NEEDED, AND TO FUND HELP FOR OUR VETERANS. I WILL REMEMBER, WITH ALL WHO HAVE GIVEN THEIR LIVES, U.S. NAVY SPECIAL OPERATOR, SENIOR CHIEF WILLIAM “RYAN” OWENS.“Finally, to keep America Safe we must provide the men and women of the United States military with the tools they need to prevent war and –- if they must –- to fight and to win. I am sending the Congress a budget that rebuilds the military, eliminates the Defense sequester, and calls for one of the largest increases in national defense spending in American history. My budget will also increase funding for our veterans. Our veterans have delivered for this Nation –- and now we must deliver for them. The challenges we face as a Nation are great. But our people are even greater. And none are greater or braver than those who fight for America in uniform. We are blessed to be joined tonight by Carryn Owens, the widow of a U.S. Navy Special Operator, Senior Chief William “Ryan” Owens. Ryan died as he lived:  a warrior, and a hero –- battling against terrorism and securing our Nation. I just spoke to General Mattis, who reconfirmed that, and I quote, “Ryan was a part of a highly successful raid that generated large amounts of vital intelligence that will lead to many more victories in the future against our enemies.” Ryan’s legacy is etched into eternity. For as the Bible teaches us, there is no greater act of love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. Ryan laid down his life for his friends, for his country, and for our freedom –- we will never forget him.

342.        OUR FOREIGN POLICY CALLS FOR DIRECT, ROBUST, MEANINGFUL LEADERSHIP AND ENGAGEMENT WITH THE WORLD. “To those allies who wonder what kind of friend America will be, look no further than the heroes who wear our uniform. Our foreign policy calls for a direct, robust and meaningful engagement with the world. It is American leadership based on vital security interests that we share with our allies across the globe.

343.        WE SUPPORT NATO. “We strongly support NATO, an alliance forged through the bonds of two World Wars that dethroned fascism, and a Cold War that defeated communism.

344.        OUR PARTNERS IN NATO AND OTHER THEATERS MUST MEET THEIR FINANCIAL AND OTHER OBLIGATIONS. THEY MUST PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE OF THE COST. “But our partners must meet their financial obligations. And now, based on our very strong and frank discussions, they are beginning to do just that. We expect our partners, whether in NATO, in the Middle East, or the Pacific –-  to take a direct and meaningful role in both strategic and military operations, and pay their fair share of the cost.

345.        WE RESPECT HISTORIC INSTITUTIONS, BUT WE RESPECT SOVEREIGN RIGHTS OF NATIONS. FREE NATIONS MUST CHART THEIR OWN COURSE. “We will respect historic institutions, but we will also respect the sovereign rights of nations. Free nations are the best vehicle for expressing the will of the people –- and America respects the right of all nations to chart their own path.  

346.        I DO NOT REPRESENT THE WORLD. I REPRESENT THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. THAT IS MY JOB. “My job is not to represent the world. My job is to represent the United States of America.

349.        IN THESE HUMANITARIAN DISASTERS, DISPLACED PERSONS MUST BE AFFORDED THE RIGHT AND ENCOURAGEMENT TO RETURN HOME. “The only long-term solution for these humanitarian disasters is to create the conditions where displaced persons can safely return home and begin the long process of rebuilding.

350.        AMERICA IS WILLING TO FIND NEW FRIENDS, FORGE NEW PARTNERSHIPS, WHERE SHARED INTERESTS ALIGN. AMERICA WANTS PEACE. WE WANT JUSTICE. WE WANT FREEDOM. “America is willing to find new friends, and to forge new partnerships, where shared interests align.  We want harmony and stability, not war and conflict. At that celebration, the country’s builders and artists and inventors showed off their creations. Alexander Graham Bell displayed his telephone for the first time. Remington unveiled the first typewriter. An early attempt was made at electric light. Thomas Edison showed an automatic telegraph and an electric pen. Imagine the wonders our country could know in America’s 250th year. Think of the marvels we can achieve if we simply set free the dreams of our people. Cures to illnesses that have always plagued us are not too much to hope. American footprints on distant worlds are not too big a dream. Millions lifted from welfare to work is not too much to expect. And streets where mothers are safe from fear – schools where children learn in peace – and jobs where Americans prosper and grow – are not too much to ask. When we have all of this, we will have made America greater than ever before.

352.        THIS IS OUR VISION AND OUR MISSION FOR ALL AMERICANS. WE ARE ONE PEOPLE. WE BLEED THE SAME BLOOD. WE SALUTE THE SAME FLAG. WE ARE MADE BY THE SAME GOD. Whereas, President Trump released the transcript of a call between him and the President of Ukraine;

Whereas, President Trump subsequently released the whistleblower complaint of August 12, 2019;

Whereas, in a September 26, 2019, hearing on the whistleblower complaint, House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff purported to relay the content of the phone call to the American people;

Whereas, instead of quoting directly from the available transcript, Chairman Schiff manufactured a false retelling of the conversation between President Trump and President Zelensky;

Whereas, this egregiously false and fabricated retelling had no relationship to the call itself;

Whereas, these actions of Chairman Schiff misled the American people, bring disrepute upon the House of Representatives, and make a mockery of the impeachment process, one of this chamber’s most solemn constitutional duties;

Whereas, for more than two years, Chairman Schiff has spread false accusations that the Trump Campaign colluded with Russia;

Whereas, on March 20, 2017, then-Ranking Member Schiff read out false allegations from the Steele dossier accusing numerous Trump associates of colluding with Russia;

Whereas, then-Ranking Member Schiff falsely claimed in a March 2017 interview to have “more than circumstantial evidence” of collusion with Russia;

Whereas, then-Ranking Member Schiff negotiated with Russian comedians who he believed to be Ukrainian officials to obtain materials to damage the President of the United States politically;

Whereas, members of the Intelligence Committee have lost faith in his objectivity and capabilities as Chairman, with every Republican member on the Committee having signed a letter calling for his immediate resignation as Chairman; and

Whereas, Chairman Schiff has hindered the ability of the Intelligence Committee to fulfill its oversight responsibilities of the Intelligence Community, an indispensable pillar of our national security: Now therefore, be it

Resolved, That—

(1) the House of Representatives censures and condemns Representative Adam Schiff for conduct that misleads the American people in a way that is not befitting an elected Member of the House of Representatives;

(2) Representative Adam Schiff will forthwith present himself in the well of the House for the pronouncement of censure; and

(3) Representative Adam Schiff will be censured with the public reading of this resolution by the Speaker.

1. BARREL, what is your take away after this first day of the Impeachment Trial in the Senate?

2. My take, is this PORK – POTUS Trump was well within his rights in his dealings with Ukraine and the House. There is no proof of wrongdoing.

3. There is no proof of Russia collusion, of quid pro quo, or obstruction of justice, or obstruction of congress.

4. Adam Schiff, Jerry Nadler, Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer are on trial, not POTUS Trump. 

5. Schiff, Nadler, and Pelosi have failed to make their partisan case. All four have wasted our time and money and in the process failed their own constituencies completely.

6. While these four continue to waste our money and time, POTUS Trump is helping us be FREE, SAFE, and PROSPEROUS.

7. The dark perfidiousness of Adam Schiff, Jerry Nadler, Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer, in trying to remove a sitting president for political advantage, is now brought into the light of day for the Senate, the nation, and the world to condemn.

1. BARREL, how would you solve the Israeli Arab conflict?

2. Well, PORK, I would focus on being a peacemaker. The ARABS AND JEWS are blood cousins. They are blood brothers and sisters. They are tied to each other genetically. They are tied to each other through Abraham. They are family and the super powers not of the family for oil and other purposes have been exploiting the family by stoking the conflict between the two blood brothers with arms and otherwise. I recommend that ARAB and JEW come together as family and set up a separate UNITED ARAB JEWISH NATIONS independent of the obviously dysfunctional United Nations.

3. The Israelis and the Arabs need to pause for 2 minutes and remember who they are. They need to work together in this new UNITED ARAB JEWISH NATIONS – as family – to stand up to the opposition.

4. They are kin. They are genetically linked. They are family. So enough already. Isaac and Ishmael need to get along and help one another. True, Ishmael attacked Isaac and Isaac defended himself which was the right thing to do. So let’s all get over it and work together as family. Let’s not focus on the past conflicts or religious differences. Let’s focus on the family kinship and love one another as brothers and sister. Short of a functioning UNITED ARAB JEWISH NATIONS peace we are trending toward an ARAB and ISRAELIS scorched earth Armageddon when all the while with a small amount of King Shalmanezer III and people of Nineveh humility perhaps Armageddon can be avoided.

5. There is no place for jealousy. There is no place for hatred. There is every reason to get oil greedy non-family actors out of the equation.

PORK, my take is straight forward. 

POTUS TRUMP has been framed. He is “not guilty.” All thinking men and women know this. The partisan, democrat orchestrated plan to impeach POTUS TRUMP was in place before POTUS TRUMP was formally sworn in.

As a consequence, POTUS TRUMP and his family have been abused more than most individuals I know could endure.

PORK, “The judgment of history is that a group of scoundrels [Pelosi, Schiff, Nadler, and the democrats] in control of the U.S. House of Representatives placed partisan interests above the country, undermined the Constitution, weakened America in the world, and [Pelosi, Schiff, Nadler, and the democrats] lied about the duly elected president of the United States,” sending articles of impeachment to the Senate that were unsupported by factual evidence and were voted for by democrats alone.
